I'm a cerealaholic, so I have a bowl every night. =)

I get on every morning, but my weight actually does NOT fluctuate daily for no reason like most ppl claim theirs does. It's rare that I don't see some kind of loss, even if it's tiny. It has always been the main thing to keep me honest and make me push harder every single day. Now that I'm so far into it, I don't need that…

The first time I realized I was obese, I literally felt my heart sink down to my stomach, so I know how you're probably feeling. But I also agree with frankbo25, it's not that important. What matters is that you come to feel comfortable in your own skin, not that you are comparable to other nameless ppl on a medical chart.

I was just thinking about this earlier. I think I would have to continue to use MFP, just to keep me accountable, at least a few times a week. My nutritionist even says she observes and documents her calories several times a month, just to make sure she's not underestimating her cals (which a lot of us do! lol)

Absolutely amazing!

I think he just sounds like an outright idiot. *shrug* If he does NOT have an IQ below 100, then he's just outright hateful. Either way, don't you let his words bother you for a moment longer, because no one can know what this struggle has been like for you, and the fact is, most people will never do what you have done...…

   Cute!

I wasn't too happy about it, either, until I realized they're actually shaping up pretty nicely as they get smaller. Plus I saw a pic of myself after losing 85 pounds, and my boobs seriously looked grossly ginormous. So I'm no longer opposed to losing a full cup size (but no more, please! lol)

I'm two weeks post-op from getting my lapband. I let all of my closer family and friends know because, obviously, they're gonna find out about it at some point. However, I have NOT announced it to anyone on MFP (Surprise, Friends!) yet and I will not be telling random ppl about it in the future because I do feel like I'll…

I go through this every twenty pounds or so. I absolutely believe I'm getting fatter as I lose weight. It's the craziest thing, and I KNOW it's not true, but I think it'll take a LOT longer to lose the insecurities than to lose the weight.

Amazing feeling isn't it?!?! Soooooo great for you! Congrats

I heard the other day if you work a desk job it's good to buy one of those big ball things (lol have no clue what they're called) to sit on instead of a chair. But I didn't pay attention to what was so beneficial about it. Not very helpful maybe, but thought I would throw it out there.

I was 21 and was actually at my then "lowest" weight of around 210. One thing I will mention since I see it was pointed out above and I really do agree is that neither of us were looking for each other, or for anyone else for that matter. We were both just kind of looking for a good time. Anywho... flash forward and I…

Wow, you guys. Seeing that on the scale this morning was emotional for me, but now you all really make me wanna cry! LoL Thank you ALL so much for responding. This is why I love this site so very much. We're all here on a common mission, and it's great to not only have the support of others with a similar goal, but to have…

There's a mix you can order online called Moo Magic. They're little packets like the individual Crystal Light packets. You just mix it in with a cup of milk. I've tried it and it was very tasty, but since I can't find it in any stores, I don't use it.

I'm the same way. Sticking to a schedule is very important to me. I try my best to get involved with something that will distract me.

My sincerest appreciation to everyone for all the support and compliments! Thanks for sharing in my excitement!!! :smooched: And for those who mentioned the reward- no worries. My hubby has surprised me with tickets to see one of my favorite bands (Breaking Benjamin) on Wednesday. He surprised me about three pounds ago,…

Ya know.. I'm leery of the facebook sharing. I guess I'm a paranoid kind of person and I don't like people knowing all my business. However, you made a valid point about sharing it and inspiring others to join. I like that idea. Perhaps I'll go turn on my feed now.

Thank you so much everyone! Oh and I apologize, I forgot to check the pic when I posted. It should be fixed now.

I changed mine because my original one had my name in it, and I wasn't comfortable with that on this site. Plus it was lame. This one makes more sense for this particular site.

Oh. And I still use Biggest Loser as well. I recommend that one even over Wii Fit Plus. More opportunity to bump up your workouts as you go along.
-
I'm a big supporter of the Wii Fit Plus as a beginner exercise. Obviously if you're working out hard at the gym on a regular basis you're not going to get much out of it. If you're starting out as kind of sedentary, though, it's a great investment. I used it for about three months straight, and still use it every once in…

I sent ya an invite

I've actually chosen a goal that still leaves me a minimum of twenty pounds "overweight." I'm not comfortable with the thought of being "skinny." I've always been obese, and I think I would look good and feel good at the weight goal I've set for myself. Now that I'm within thirty pounds of that goal, I'm starting to see…

Dannon Light and Fit is all I ever eat. (Except for Walmart just started selling it under their "great value" name so I eat that, too.) The lowest calorie yogurt I've found and I think it tastes great! I don't know why anyone would want to use 120+ calories on a 4oz yogurt when you could have 6oz for 80 cals.
-
I don't get it either. I was working with a dietician for the first part of my weight loss, and dairy was one of those things she really made me focus on getting in every day.
-
Wow! Thank you! I don't think I've ever been called vibrant before... or healthy for that matter.
-
Sounds like you're already on the right track. I hope you find the inspiration and motivation to keep going! This site can definitely help with that. Welcome and good luck!
-
Do people who knew you before drop to their knees and bow when you walk near them? If not, they should. You. Are. Amaaaaazing!

Welcome! Congrats on your new baby, and good luck on your new journey!
