I am so sorry this is the first impression you are getting! I have seen some very negative comments and I try to ignore them, although I have posted a very respectful response on occasion. I haven't been using the messgae boards for very long either, but I assure you, this is not the norm. 99% of the people on here are…

These stories are so sweet! I have so many wonderful memories of my dad and am blessed to be able to make new ones every day. I get my love of reading from my daddy. When I was little, he would lay in bed and read every night. I would crawl up in the bed and curl up next to him with my head on his chest. He would let me…

I reall needed this reminder today. Thanks!

WOW!!! That is AMAZING!!!!!!!!

Hmmmm, great question. I think each milestone is equally as exciting. I notice new things all of the time. I never knew I had muscles on my chest connecting to my arms until the other day :) I don't think it's as much about the AMOUNT of change as it is about WHAT changes you notice.

I have lost 104 so far and have been doing some kind of strength training since day 1. I have what I call my "belly flap." Attractive, huh? I do lots of core excercises, drink lots of fluids, etc, etc, etc lol Just in case it DOES work lol I know I will continue to lose and tone, but think my belly flap is here to stay…

I really do respect your opinion, and we all have a right to one. But I used to be the person you are talking about. I was almost 300 lbs, bipolar, PCOS, hypothyroid and chronic fatigue. Cleaning my house WAS a marathon. I did what I could do. And every little thing I did encouraged me to do a little more. Now I am 104 lbs…

I as diagnosed with PCOS when I was 16. I didn't suffer any issues for a few years but recently found out I have cysts again and am really struggling with some pain issues. Yes, I have acne issues as well. Funny thing is, I din't in high school. I have tried proactive and every OTC out there I think, nothing works. Also,…

I am dealing with the same thing. I have a sinus infection and strep throat. i worked out last night and it made me feel worse. On antibiotics now and thinking I need to go ahead and bite the bullet tonight. I hate not working out but don't want to push my body too far!! How long is your water aerobics class? Do you have a…

I have had two Mirena's for a total of about 8 years. I spotted for the two weeks when the first one was put in but then didn't have anymore periods. I have suffered from PCOS since my teens and have horrible periods, so I loved this. I am not one to remember to take a pill every day (my daughhter Breanna is a miraculous…

I get the "Which surgery did you have?" question a lot. I'm not knocking people who have had surgery at all. My doctor actually recommended that I do it. I just hadn't really tried to do it on my own yet and wanted to try that route first. And I hate it when people ask me how much I work out, and I tell them I aim for 6…

You sound like an amzing and strong person. It takes a lot of courage to share such a personal story and to realize when to ask for help. Good luck and thanks for opening up!

Thank you so much!!! THis is one of the many reasons I love MFP so much. People on here are so understanding and supportive!

I am addicted too! I am also an emotional eater. Most people lose weight when they are sick. not me! I keep shoving food down my throat thinking it'll make me feel better. How silly is that? I'm sitting here right now with strep throat and a sinus infection (so I can't tast anything anyway) trying to figure out what I am…

I had this problem too and have found a few things that work for me. I check out area classes and take the one that scares me the most :) Zumba terrified me, but now I'm addicted. I also have about 25 or more workout DVD's so I never have an excuse. They are all different is some way so I can switch it up. Plus they are…

I watch it from the treadmill too! I love this, it is very motivational. It's nice to see people struggle with the same issues but overcome them as well. I wish they would show more of the "how-to's" as well. It would be nice to get some tips with the motivation!!

I would have to say Rasing Arizona. Sad thing is the only thing I remember about this movie is hating it lol Everyone I know hated Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, but I LOVED it!
