  • My 2 most common: #1-- 2 eggs (usually scrambled), 2 slices of fresh tomatoes & a piece of fruit (1/2 grapefruit usually). #2--Medium size banana & 2 tablespoons of natural peanut butter (no sugar added--Smuckers is a good brand). #2 is my stand-by when I oversleep or am in a hurry. You would be surprised how filling that…
  • Didn't get much feedback, but decided since hubby was motivated to try something, I'd do it with him. We are now on day 17 & I feel great! The 3rd to 5th day I was craving sweets/bread really bad, but after I got past that it's not hard at all. We eat a wide variety of meats, vegetables, fruits & nuts. I have lost 9 lbs.…
  • I'm actually doing okay on my balanced diet & moderate exercise....losing slowly, but steady. Just trying to get him started & he found this & wants to try it. I'm just trying to see if anyone has tried it & if it is healthy.

  • I started out at 175lbs. My ultimate goal weight is 125lbs. The first couple of times I tried to use MFP, I didn't stick to it. This time I decided to MAKE it work. Like some others have said...oatmeal is a good start...cheap, filling, low-fat & low calories. I also use apples slices with a little peanut butter spread on…
  • Yep.....that's how I got approved for my reduction. :-)
  • I understand. I had the same problem....through weight gain or weight loss, my band size change, but not my cup size--always a DDD (with spillover). I had lost a little weight & it was stable for 5 years, then I did the surgery (insurance approved). I couldn't be happier. One year after surgery, I was a 34 C. I have since…
  • Be careful what you believe. One of the articles you posted a link to is not even about DIET sodas, it is about REGULAR sodas. According to my doctor, diet sodas are like most everything else...can be harmful if abused. The "association" with diet sodas is not a "cause". You could also say that all those people affected…
