I quit smoking first. It sure does make exercising easier. I used the nicoteen gum. It help me alot. I still want a cig most days though and I've been smoke free for 14 months and gum free for 11 months.

I eat clementines, small apples and strawberries when I can afford them.

Up your calories by eating back your exercise calories (at least some of them). This should spike your metabolism.

Its your concience kicking your butt. I feel way bigger after a couple days off the wagon. You'll feel back to normal after flushing with alot of water and getting a great workout in. I say don't beat yourself up but thats what keeps us going.

Pizza. I eat the toppings first and put the sprinkle parmesan chees just on the crust under the toppings. I dunno why, just always have. I also feel a sandwich tastes better cut diagonally. Same issue, I live in an apartment on the middle floor. My go to workout is the wii dance. I try to step and jump softly bending my knees, but noise is bound to happen. I put a towel over the time and miles so I don't have to watch the time click by and I rent books on cd from the library and listen to them while walking.

I think that is so amazing. What a great feeling that is. I remember when I ran my first mile, it was the best feeling I've ever had. I can't do it right now, but hope to get back there soon.

I used the gum (plain label nicorette). stuck in my lip like chew. I still want a cigarette most days, but I've been smoke free for over 13 months. Only took me one box (90 pieces) of gum.

YES! Some fruits are pretty high. Bananas and grapes. But all have a good amount of cals and sugar. I definately log.

I look at those extra calories you earn as "optional". I don't believe you have to eat them back, but if you are having a hungry day they are there for you. I usually eat back some of mine. Listen to your body and it will tell you if it needs the extra energy or not.
