I try not to keep trigger foods in the house. For me these are the cakes and cookies you mentioned. If the kids need a sweet treat I do have light yogurt, fruit snacks or indivually packed servings of serbert. I always have fresh fruit that they like too. If they want cinnamon rolls for breakfast I do bake them, but then I…

I like to drink hot herbal tea. Mint or fruit flavored. Both help me alot. I also drink water and I try to go to bed within 3-4 hours after eating dinner so that I don't start to feel to hungry. If I start snacking at night after supper I wouldn't stop so I don't.

I appreciate everything you all are saying. I do hike trails and walk the zoo with them on weekends when weather permits and we do spend time together while I'm making food. They do the wii with me and do my workout videos with me sometimes. I guess I need to look at that as our bonding time instead of the snuggling on the…

I have a pair of jean capris I wore before my last pregnancy I would love to fit into. Ultimate dream is to fit my size 8 jean mini that I wore before I had kids. That goal seems kind of unrealistic at this point so I'll stick with the capris. :) I do love the walk around nude idea though!

Just let him know that if you ever did go that route it would be because you wanted to and ask him not to mention it again because right now it offends you.

i agree with the crock pot idea. I also love Jenny-o frozen furkey burger patties. Another fav is eggs and turkey sausage. If I don't have time for these I make a sandwich with a bunch of veggies. And I know what you mean by normal...Something that anyone can cook and doesn't involve dozens of ingredients. I'm the same way.

I go over daily too, because I have fruit with every meal. Don't care. Only looking at calories in, calories out.

Right now my go to sweet fix is coffee with splenda or herbal tea (fruit flavored). both have no calories and work pretty well. I also am finding the more fruit and vegetables I eat at each meal the more satisfied I am and the less I crave sweets.

I LOVE coffee, so I am bias. I don't know if it speeds up metabolism, but when I have a chocolate craving at work I can usually drink a cup of coffee with splenda and feel good. I also find that if I have coffee in the morning I tend to not crave sweets until after lunch.
