  • I generally wake up and pretty much jump right into my workouts, then once I'm cooled down I eat something. I've never been much of a morning eater, but I'm trying to get better at that to help my metabolism and energy levels throughout the day. To be honest, I modeled my morning schedule after what I did in the Army…
  • I'm the same way. I figure it worked great while I was in Basic Training for the Army, and it still seems to be working out. :D
  • Circuit training - 20 min and it seems to work fine for me, ymmv.
  • This topic should be a sticky!!
  • I'm nursing a twisted ankle right now but I'm game. :D Current Weight: 184 lbs Goal Weight: 155 lbs or so...
  • I have an older model Health-O-Meter, glass... I love it, not only does it display weight, but I can program in my age, gender, and height and get BMI as well as body fat %, hydration level and bone mass. It's been reliable, but was discontinued apparently, not sure what they've got available now.
  • I've been doing both for a little while now, slacked off on the 100 push ups though... I'll be picking it back up tomorrow. :D
  • Saving this to review when I have time. :D
  • The only time I've been able to get out on my bike so far this year, I had CT going.. It was in my pocket since I don't have a basket, but I imagine it would work fine in a basket or other holster; I'm guessing it's using just the GPS to track your movements while on the bike so yeah... As long as it gets a signal it…
  • Which Elvish? :P Oh, and mine comes from a nickname I got back when I was in vocational school...
  • Gryffindor! I can't wait to see HPDHp2, but I'm not going opening night... Too many crazy people at premier nights around here.
  • If you don't do it every day I don't see why that would be an issue. Keep in mind however, I'm not an expert and my posts are merely an opinion. :D
  • Keep up the great work everyone! Congratulations especially to chunkyb of Team 1! According to my number crunching, it appears as though you're smoking the rest of us, with the exception of healthhc130 of Team 7, who is right behind you in total % lost. Team 11 we're doing great! Let's keep at it!
  • That's exactly what they did with Gmail back in the day, lol. I had to wait til they opened it up to the "semi-open (invites + people that can send a text message) beta" Well, send me one in 48hrs then. :P *Edit: oops, forgot to close quote... heh
  • @#$%&... They did that with Gmail for a while too... Google should know by now, if they don't want to exceed capacity, LOWER the number of invites people can send out based on the number of Total Users / Capacity... It's not really that complicated Google!
  • You do know Facebook has almost the exact same language in their terms of use right?
  • You know what, Lyadeia... You're absolutely right. I'm a complete stranger to almost everyone on this site (I only know 1 person here away from the computer) and the thought to send someone a private message saying their goals aren't mine, so they're not right, has NEVER, not once, crossed my mind. And, if we're being…
  • I'm experiencing almost the complete opposite! Since I've started working out and trying to eat better, I've found I'm LESS irritable! Of course, I had anger issues before, so it really couldn't have gotten much worse. I've also cut back on my nicotine habit, although I haven't fully cut back to 0 intake yet which normally…
  • I have not worn an HRM all day as I don't own one, but I've heard there is a device that's specifically made to be worn all day to track your actual burns. I believe it's called the BodyFit something or other. I'm sure another poster can give the proper name to the thing.
  • A friend of mine from way back was supposed to send me an invite, but I don't think it sent since I haven't gotten it yet, though she says she sent it yesterday... :frown:
  • WTG!! That is spectacular progress! I hope to have similar results by the end of my 2nd week! I'm on Day 5 today!
  • Basically, this. I even sometimes ask my friends to review my diary and give me an "attaboy" (or similar expression) if I've made good choices, or tell me that thing I thought was kinda healthy is really just fat in a can, but often times I don't. It's called a diary for a reason though. When I hear the word diary I don't…
  • (duplicate, please delete)
  • Android doesn't need a separate iPod/MP3 player. It's got a stock music player that's decent, though not great (it's what I currently use), and there are numerous 3rd party apps that can take over that function and do just fine. Android, Windows Mobile, and even Blackberry are expecting updates soon; and the website is…
  • Personally, I'm a fan of Android. Yes, I have one, no I've never owned an iPhone (but I have tested out a few friends and models in AT&T stores) and yes I'm not really much of an Apple fan. That being said, let me say something about my Android phone. I hate the phone it's self, but I love the operating system. Sadly, this…
  • That is indeed a "small" NSV! Congratulations! :D
  • I wish I could give you the answers you're seeking, but I'm not very musically inclined myself, but I'm very interested in hearing the answer as well. :D
  • To address your question about noticing a difference between left and right, I definitely spotted a few. :D Way to go. Honestly, I hope at the end of my 30 days (Day 3 was today, and it was rough) I'll have results as good as yours! And, since I saw it after I posted this (though it was posted before mine): And... Love…
  • Welcome to MFP! Glad to see you're already finding the site so useful. I've been here less than a month so far m'self, but I absolutely love it. The encouragement and support I get from my fellow MFPers has kept me going. Feel free to add me as a friend and remember, this journey is a marathon, not a sprint!
