What about alternating a drink with a glass of water? For me it's about having something in my hand...doesn't mean it has to be alchohol all the time!

Welcome Suzie, you have come to the right place for support and accountability!

Since my Zumba instructor is always high energy in class and likes to push us I usually burn between 600-700 calories for an hour!

Ok, I understand the concern about Diabetes, I live with two Diabetics! But, please remember when you are talking about Diabetes, increased thirst is just one sign of Diabetes...and if you have not had the issue you are having now before you started drinking more water, then you prob. don't have to worry as much! Again…
-
Don't let the comments about Diabetes freak you out...although it is a good precaution to be checked, I too have the same prob. with water intake and thirst. I started drinking more water after the new year and have def. notice that my body wants more fluid, maybe it is normal when your body is not used to so much water?…

mamagooskie: She is always on here logging and inspiring others with her successes and she had logged in for more than 560 days in a row! Now that is commitment!

Dear.... If it takes me longer to finish a task because I keep getting interupted with other important things, get over it! At least I am willing to finish the task instead of handing it off to someone else! You would think that is a desirable quality in someone, not a bad one!

I work in the same industry as you and couldn't agree more with each and every one of your statements:bigsmile:

Just incase you wanted to update this, my name is not next to my MFP name...My name is Brooke!

Hey Blue Team- I'm Brooke, 33yrs. and live in Michigan. I started my journey to be a healthier me in Jan. of this year and have lost a total of 63lbs. so far but have been struggling with motivation lately and think this challenge will really help me get back into the swing of things! Challenges seem to work well for me…

I originally bought a cheaper one at Walmart...and it sucked so I decided to suck it up and get a better one...I went with the Polar FT4. Got it on Amazon.com for just under $70 and I love it!

FFL2

Congrats on completing your first 5K!! It sure is all about finishing rather then being the first one, isn't it!?! I am doing my first 5K on Thanksgiving Day and am hoping I will be as excited as you were! Again, awesome job!
-
I know how you feel, I am in the same position you are...my first 5k is on Thanksgiving Day and I am scared to death!! I guess you could tell yourself what I keep trying to tell myself, it's not about the time I finish it in, it's about actually finishing it and challenging myself to do things I would have never done…

-
I do a woman's multivitamin and chromium (helps boost metabolism)!
-
Way to go...your story prove that every little bit counts!!!!

One thing that I have always been told is that when it becomes harder to loose the weight and you planteau a good idea is to change up your routine! Try diff. exercises with different difficulties! Good Luck and Congratulations on all of your success so far!
-
The best advice I can give you is to take it one step at a time, one day at a time! Maybe try to add a veggie or fruit choice every couple days. I have found that making changes a little at a time is better then trying to do it all at once, it's less overwhelming! And rememeber, you always have your MFP people for support!…
-
I guess it all depends on the person and how your body reacts. It's been 7 months for me and am 2lbs away from the 50lb mark!
-
Wow, you can really tell! Great Job!

I would like to join as well!
