I put "as someone" because i am on my phone and do not look at the posters names but just read through the posts themselves. The quote above sure sounds like you are discouraging weight training until the OP has lost more weight which makes zero sense to me personally. I was not trying to attack anyone, I just dont agree…

yes mummyadams you got it :-)

I am in my 5th week of stage 1 of this program and absolutely love it! I am already seeing small results and I have already gained strength which is a win-win to me. Feel free to friend me and there is also a board dedicated to NROL4W on here.

I am doing NROL4W and love it so far but pick the program that you feel will work best for you. I definitely would not put (heavy) lifting off until you have lost more weight as someone suggested because more muscle equals more calories burned and you dont want to lose any of the muscle you already have. Good luck in your…

I am in Blair (sw okla) and still have a ways to go before i reach my goal weight. I have been on this journey for awhile but have gotten very serious in the last six weeks or so. I am a work from home mom with a three year old daughter. feel free to add me if you like

The ability to "bounce back" after pregnancy has too many factors to name and it is not possible for all of us to bounce back to the body we had before. I am fortunate that only my boobs suffered with stretch marks and my ob did an awesome job on my c/s so i barely have a scar but the fact still remains that i still weigh…

For me I did not enjoy exercising when I started but I did enjoy the time I got to myself (no husband, kid, work needing something). I could go for a walk put in my headphones and even though the walking was challenging until I got used to it the stress relief and music made it worth doing. If you hate walking try riding a…

I have cardio only days two days a week; my usual week is MWF weights and TT cardio. My muscles need time to recover after my weight workouts before I stress them again.

^^^^this; I know for me the 1200 calorie thing was just causing me to be hungry all of the time and although I was losing some it was not what I would expect from eating that little. I decided I wanted to build strength as well as lose some fat so I started with the NROL4W and upped my calories to 1799 (TDEE -20%); the…

I am on my 4th week od NROL4W and love it so far and I like the looks if the next stages also. To me it is a straight plan once you get the basics down and I definitely feel like I have accomplished something when i leave the gym.

I am a mom of a busy 3 year old daughter and finally getting in the right track to getting off the excess weight. I do weights training 3 days a week and cardio on 2 or 3 of the days I dont lift.

feel free to add me...i am working on getting my family to eat healthier too. I have a 3 year old daughter (she is easy though and eat almoat anything) and a meat and potatoes loving husband....getting him to healthier is my challenge.
-
Don't give that loser another thought. If your daughter mentions anything else about it then use it as a teaching opportunity that everyone is beautiful no matter their size and that calling some fat is very hurtful.

I have been rewarding myself with new shoes and a hrm for just sticking to a healthy eating plan and working out 3 days a week minimum. When I get to the size I want to be (Size 2 or 4, we will see when I get there) I want to have family pics made because right now I dont want any remindernof how much I havent taken care…

I have had two family members that have had the gastric bypass and it has ruined both of their lives. My sister is the first one to tell anyone that asks that being skinny is not worth all of the gastric system problems she has now, the problems of the surgery led both my siblings to drugs between pain from side effects…

I second the fact that you look great Heather! Yes, eating healthier does make it harder to get your calories in oakleaves...I am trying to do the 5 small meals a day thing but I am usually struggling to get my snacks in because the extra protein in my breakfast and lunch keep me full way longer than the junk I used to…

I have my goal set at 1799; it is 1788 per Scooby's TDEE calculator (link below) for maintaining weight but this is the lowest of any of the TDEE calculators so I just set that as my max. Per the books calculator I should be eating 2254 on workout days and 1989 on non-workout days to maintain...I was staying close to MFP…

^^^this is me...i workout alone to get my day started and mind focused....plus this is my "me" time where i dont have to think of anyone but me and my goals.
-
I get up at 445 and go to the gym while everyone else is sleeping. It starts my day off right and I feel better throughout the day because i did get my exercise in.

I know one thing about the prone jackknife...I realized when I did my first workout swiss ball crunch in workout B exactly how much the jackknifes had worked my abs! I thought 8 crunches no biggie, it hurt (in a good way) because my abs were still sore from the previous workout

You are stronger than you think you are...push yourself and work those muscles. I will be starting week 3 on monday and am already lifting more than i thought would be able to at this point. feel free to add me as a friend...love to have friends that arent just doing the cardio thing

feel free to add me...i am in week 3 of stage one and loving this so far!

this was my exact thoughts...why would anyone buy the new books unless they are better than the old and it is hard to sell the new books when you have so many fans of the old ones promoting them.
-
Nickelback & Three Days Grace are my personal favorites..not sure what albums just whatever my hubby had on his ipod when i stole it from him :-P

I think stretch marks are mostly genetic unfortunately...I know when i was pregnant i used vitamin e oil on my tummy every night and do not have one stretch mark on my tummy....however my boobs are not the same story at all (i didnt use oil on them though and they grew way faster than my tummy).

new rules of lifting for women...i got mine for $12 or $13 on amazon and that was one of the best investments i have made so far. there are lots of programs on the internet for free just be careful and remember sometimes you get what you pay for. i love nrol4w because it gives a thorough explanation of the program and it…

wow is all I know to say to the amazing transformations shown here. I just started NROL4W and love it so far (only on 2nd week), these success stories definitely motivate me to keep lifting and increasing the weights!

bumping until I have time to write this recipe down...looks super yummy!

I am starting on Monday and would love to have friends that are also doing the nrwl4w. Very excited to get started!
