LAWL!! That's awesome! I would have killed to see the look on his face! :3

I think I'll turn my boyfriend onto this...he farts like it's going out of style! I also heard that this diet makes your breath a little stinky and your pee smell to high heaven (because the fat is being released in your pee I think). Is this true?

I have had kidney stones before so I know where you're coming from on that. u_u Not fun stuff. I also have been looking into farmers around my area and the prices are a little steep but not outrageous (we even have some farmers coming to farmer's markets with their meat). I found an AWESOME site for the whole finding…

Good points! I really do recommend going out to farmer's markets to pick up your veggies and such for this challenge or at least shopping at health concious stores that focus more on organic/pesticide free/natural then just running down to Albertsons. Like I mentioned above, I'll be posting my receipts of every food item I…

You can definitely be a part of the challenge if you would like. By no means am I going to be a dictator, Nazi type figure about this. If using dairy works for you, it works for you. This challenge is mainly a support for those that are interested in pursuing the lifestyle or learning more about it. In that same breath, I…

Agreed! I'll still be counting calories personally. But will fade it out once I understand what correct portions are and how much it takes for me to sustain myself. The thing is, this diet is all about eating until you're full (not eating until you feel like you're going to burst) and this might be what your individual…

I totally agree with you on this. I'm sort of going through this as of late actually. The boyfriend has lost interest physically (and I seriously don't blame them because I don't like what I see either) but he still loves me emotionally and is giving me time to get my *kitten* together. I let myself go because I got too…

You can input your weight every month, week, day or even hour! It's really up to you. Just go to "Weigh In" (My Home tab on the left side of the screen) and just input your current weight in the field indicated. This site has little restrictions when it comes to your weight loss goals and the way you track them. Hope this…

Here's a study: https://www.utexas.edu/news/2011/06/22/milk_studies/ An interesting snipet from the article: "Ivy's research also revealed that low-fat chocolate milk drinkers built more muscle and shaved off more fat during training, ending up with a three-pound lean muscle advantage after four and a half weeks of…

I've heard that chocolate milk is a good recovery drink after a workout. It's a lot less expensive than going out and getting "the good stuff" too.

The "Trader Joe's Unsweetened Green Tea" is BOMB. Though, I have to admit I add water to make it less strong because straight out of the bottle, it's definitely a mouthful. But yeah, it's awesome. Boosted my energy without giving me calories and tastes awesome too!

That's really useful!! *bookmarked*

Alas, I am stuck behind a desk all day as well. u_u But I do get to walk for around 40 minutes on my lunch and I can even get a second walk in some days (when I'm feeling sassy) for 20 minutes or so later on in the day (my boss isn't very strict about lunch time and breaks). I also get up a lot to get water, snacks and go…

Vegetable Omelet w/ Turkey Bacon 2 large eggs 2 slices of turkey bacon 1/2 white capped mushroom 2 stalks of green onion 1 slice - chopped red onion 1 stick mozzarella cheese stick (I didn't add this today because I forgot but prefer it- I also strip the stick into a bunch of little strips then add) 1/3 green bell pepper…

Neither. I have a Chemex. :3 [boyfriend is a coffee snob]

It's quite possibly because of your new weigh schedule. I like to way myself first thing when I get up in the morning and one time before I go to bed just to see the difference the day can do. Yesterday I weighed 169 in the morning and when I jumped on the scale at night, I was 172. Don't let it bug you at all though…

I went vegan for half a year and I have to say, it was okay. I did lose some pounds but my energy level sort of declined and my finger tips tingled all the time. It also ate a hole in wallet (I was spending about $200 a week on food alone) I don't know about raw though. Some might argue that the weight you lose when you're…

+20 internets for you sir.

Nope. u_u She's got one of those "quick wits" everyone's talking about these days. I am glad to have come from her loins.

Yes. Prime example (although this is an IRL troll), my mom got this call from a random blocked number. The patron on the other line was trying to troll her by saying "HURR DURR control your cat! It's crapping all over our lawn!" She hasn't had a cat in going on 10 years now. But instead of saying such (which would have…

Do I sense some denizens of the "site that shall not be mentioned" ? :D

It really depends on the troll. There are just some out there that have NO creativity and are really not that smart and you're just like "Ugh! It's not even offending me, it's just so unoriginal! :/" but then there's that jewel of a troll that actually has something to bring to the table (even if it is a little offensive…

Your Shape: Fitness Evolved got me sweating. It's actually a really good, all around exercise and they even have a Yoga section for before and after the strenuous stuff. Kinect Adventures (which comes with the Kinect) is also great, though not nearly as much of a workout, it is quite fun! :)
-
I'm doing the P90X thing too! *high five* It is a little disheartening that P90X isn't on here as an exercise but until that changes, you can substitute it with "Judo, karate, kick boxing, tae kwan do" and if you do the whole workout for P90X, you can put in 47 minutes for 599 (this is being on the consertavive side which…

Maybe you just need to sass up your breakfast. What is your typical meal plan for the day? What are your average calorie totals usually at? I also have a hard time eating in the morning. I don't know what it is but I just don't feel like eating. I also used to hate eggs but once I added some cheese, bacon bits and fresh…

Added! :3

That's one of my goals too! You know you need to lose some weight when you wear holes into your jeans where your thighs touch (sadly, I have experience in this department u_u). I'll be glad to be your friend!! :D

I'm taking a "one-a-day" for women and I'm kind of using the iceberg as a crutch to get by (I prefer it over spinach) so I'm kind of mixing the two together and every day I'll be putting in a little more spinach and a little less iceberg until I'm not eating iceberg anymore. Thanks for the helpful tips! :)
