  • Skinny Cow bars are good. And only 110 calories.
  • I am interested in this too!
  • I am also having knee problems from 30DS. It's not like workout burn, its more like "potential injury pain". I have modified the 30DS for myself so that it is a little more knee friendly. I am doing different types of cardio than some of the jumpy stuff and am really making sure to watch my form on the squats etc.
  • That was my experience after the first day. I got really shaky and didn't feel well and then the next morning all of my muscles felt like they were on fire! This will go away though. My muscles stopped hurting after the 4th or 5th day. Keep it up, it will get easier!
  • I did gain .2 lbs and basically the scale just stopped moving. I am on Day 6 of the 30DS and the scale has started to inch down again slowly. I am thinking muslce :)
  • I would try mixing up the exercises a little. Your body starts to become conditioned when you do the same things over and over, so you don't burn as many calories doing the same thing. Also try to add in some strength training,
  • I have only been at this healthy thing for about a week, but I have noticed I don't have nearly as much of a sweet tooth, and I don't crave carbs as much. I used to drink a can of orange Sunkist everyday and now that just sounds WAY too sugary! I was also completely able to resist a Swiss Cake Roll the other day!
  • Absolutely eat! Protein helps rebuild your muscles :0)
  • I get possessive of my food if I have measured it all out! Its very confusing to try to figure out caloric intake if someone starts taking my food.
  • I just started it today. I now hate Jillian Michaels! But I am assuming that I will have good results. At least I better with as sore as I am now!
  • Use a vegetable peeler on a zucchini to make zucchini noodles (steam for 2-3 minutes), mix with marinara sauce. Tasty and filling for pretty low cals!
  • Le Sueur. Any other MN people feel free to add me!
  • I have one that I bought at our local grocery store for about $4. I use it all the time for vegetables. I don't think that you need to look for anything specific with it.
  • Did you do the yogurt instead of ranch or bleu cheese dressing?

  • Buffalo Chicken Salad: Grilled chicken breast (you can always put in the fridge after cooking to cool it down before eating) 1 Piece microwaved bacon 2 Cups lettuce 1 stalk celery chopped 1.5 Tbsp Bleu Cheese Crumbles 1 Tbsp Wings sauce 2 Tbsp low fat ranch dressing Absolutely delicious!

  • I have the same issue, and I also have them on my sides. Embarrassing since I don't have any kids! The ones on my thighs happened well before I was overweight. Stupid genetics :noway:
  • I also am new to this site. I'm not one that has ever talked with my friends/family about dieting, or gone to support groups or anything, but I am finding that I really enjoy the online community on here. The people are very supportive, and it is fun to get ideas from others. You can add me if you would like. Good luck!
  • I agree about the free thing! If you have a smart phone I would recommend downloading the phone app. It makes it really easy to track calories on the go. Also, on the Android phones they have a barcode scanner, so that you can scan the foods that you are eating and put them directly into your food diary. Much easier than…
  • Hi! I just started over the weekend. I am hoping to lose about 50 lbs, but will also be happy losing about half of that! Feel free to add me as a friend, and good luck!
  • Welcome! I just started over the weekend and have been happy so far with the results. I also am looking to lose about 50 lbs. Good luck, feel free to add me as a friend.
  • I like Skinny Cow candy bars. They are around 110-120 calories and pretty delicious.
  • This is my usual breakfast: 1/2 Cup Dannon Light and Fit Vanilla Yogurt 3 Sliced Strawberries 7 Raspberries 1/4 Cup Bear Naked Fruit and Nut Granola = 214 Calories This makes a good homemade fruit and yogurt parfait. I eat it for snacks sometimes too.
  • If it's too hot outside, you could always go to the mall to walk.
  • My sugars are also always over and I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables with my meals.
  • I cook things that are somewhat filling but still healthy (grilled chicken, steamed vegetables, etc). I usually give my husband the larger portions and if he is still hungry afterwards then I encourage him to snack on something healthy. He probably could drop a few pounds, however, hasn't decided to join me with my weight…
