This is a good question. I am not to my goal weight yet, but have been dropping weight fairly quickly and have been wondering the same thing!

Silk dark chocolate almond milk is terrific and always settles my chocolate cravings. Other things that I like are Fiber One brownies, chocolate teddy grahams, Kellogs Fiber bars with chocolate and peanut butter, skinny cow candy bars, fruit with vanilla yogurt, fruit and yogurt smoothies.

I am in no way suggesting that children diet. I am suggesting that they learn about healthy foods instead of eating the junk that most of us are trying to stop eating. Whether a parent is dieting or not, children don't need things such as soda. What I am talking about is instilling in them an understanding of what it means…

Sometimes I cut up 4-5 strawberries so then even though they are very low cal it seems like I am eating a lot because there are a lot of them since they are in smaller pieces. Dannon light and fit yogurt is really good for snacking, clementines, cut up vegetables...

Congratulations! Make sure you eat something with protein in it shortly after. I failed to do that and got really shaky and sick on my first day.

I had to stop 30DS due to knee pain. But I think I was doing the lunges and squats wrong the first few days.

I don't drink Sunkist because it's a slippery slope for me! And I can't handle the caffeine.

I started on June 18 at 196 and am currently down to 174, almost my half way mark!!! I have really been watching what I eat, trying to primarily eat natural foods (lean meat, fruit, vegetables) and limit the processed foods. I go for a walk every day, recently have began to attempt jogging. I did start the Jillian Michaels…

Sure, feel free to add me.

Go to check-in and at the bottom of the screen on there is a place to edit your previous weights, including your starting weight. Sorry about your mom :( That must have been horrible.

Eat something healthy. And really listen to your body to figure out if you are actually hungry or if you are bored and used to eating at a particular time. I wouldn't worry as much about the calorie content as the nutritional content.

I have a similar issue and have finally come to terms with the fact that I am a snacker and that I like to snack at night. Knowing this helps me plan for the rest of the day to make sure that I dont go over on calories. I try to eat snacks that aren't horrible when I do eat at night (fiber 1 bars, fruit, popcorn).

Get in your regular exercise then eat a light supper and make sure to drink plenty of water. Its okay to go over calories occasionally, just don't get into a habit of it. For future out to eat trips, it often helps to check out the online nutritional guides of the restaurant that you are going to so that you can prepare…

Sensible Portions apple straws, quaker mini rice cakes with either barbeque or sour cream and onion flavoring, berries, 100 cal snack packs, pomegranate seeds

Welcome! And congratulations on taking your first steps to becoming a healthier person!

Well, it depends on how much you weigh and how much you need to lose, but I lost 13 lbs in about 3.5 weeks. 1200-ish cal diet, daily walks, lots of fruits and vegetables and lean protein, very little processed food.

I would eat something light for supper even if you go over a little on calories. I rarely go over on calories, or even eat all of my allotted cals but I've found that on the days that I do I end up losing a little more weight than normal. I just wouldn't make a habit of it :)

Also- use a vegetable peeler for zuchini and run it down the length of the zuchini then steam the strips for a couple of minutes and you have noodles!

Pizza- Cut up a zuchinni, coat both sides with cooking spray, put in oven at 450 for a couple minutes, flip, then add pizza toppings. Pretty low cal and not bad tasting. Buffalo Wings- Buffalo Chicken Salad (lettuce, chicken, 1 slice microwaved bacon, bleu cheese crumbles, buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, approx 375…

It's good to know that I am not the only one awake at this ungodly hour. Sitting here eating cut up strawberries :) 7p-7a shift tonight. Bleh.

Hmm, sounds similar to me. I started on this site also on June 18th. I have lost 15 lbs, but now the scale is starting to go up a bit. I attributed mine to working weird hours this week and not getting enough exercise due to the weather. What is your diet like? I have been eating fairly healthy (except for this recent…

I do the same thing! I have found that sometimes when I am feeling like binging it helps me to remember why I am doing this.

I have been dreaming about Kraft macaroni and cheese since starting on MFP!
