  • my goal is to hit onederland, i havent been there in quite some time. that and to get my husband to eat vegetables! i swear he thinks meat and potatoes are things that need to be worshiped...
  • Weighing food is the most accurate way I've found of portion control. Making way more than what you need for a serving, then portioning it out into single servings and freeze. Great for grains, soups, anything that will survive being in the freezer. Then you don't spend as much time making dinner after a long day.
  • I know there are a lot of groups out there doing the 30DS. I have not been very consistent with doing it but I really like the workouts. I also happen to love that she is a little "tougher" in her mannerisms than other people who do exercise videos. If the person is to peppy and happy I tend to get annoyed and want to…
  • Start replacing it with fruit and dark chocolate? Look at what you're eating and see if there is a way to make it without it being high in calories/fat/sugar but still get the craving sated?
  • I'm so in. Terrified but going for it.
  • I do that also. I think its also a learning experience to go through. Once you get past this little "binge" (and you will get past it) then you can reflect and figure out what to do next time. I've found that its easier for me to just pick up and do it, rather than plan it. You feel bloated? Go take a 10 minute walk. Right…
  • see your doctor, you might have been getting too much of one thing that was keeping it at bay. i noticed i started getting it around my mouth when i started losing. you might need more fatty acids or choose a different lotion?
  • That's happened to me in the past. Even though I was losing and felt better physically, mentally I felt worse, super depressed and hard to keep myself going through a day. Part of it is because I suffer from depression regularly and a big shift in my life can swing forward a spell of depression, but I've also had someone…
  • To me, you can fall in love with someone and still not give your whole heart to them. I realized that I was in love with my man when I just could not NOT tell him I loved him. It is the most terrifying and freeing feeling at the same time. I had loved him before we were dating, while we were friends, but I wasn't in love…
  • I've always had bad knees, so I just bounce and make the motions with my arms for the jump rope or the jumping jacks. I pretty much just bounce and don't let the balls of my feet leave the ground and I've found it doesn't hurt my knees anymore. I also can't do the butt kicks because of the same reason, so I just do a…
  • I like to watch as much as I can, that way I can figure out how each thing takes its toll on my body. I watch everything the others say as well as sodium. Sodium is my enemy it seems.
  • If you are really confused I would honestly say to talk to your Primary Doctor to see what they say.
  • Lemon, Rosemary and garlic. A little olive oil also.
  • for me its hormonal. some women love chocolate TOM time, I heart bread.
  • i forget that other balding lawyers name, but hes such a slime ball. i harbor a small smarmy crush on him.
  • Big question. Is it REALLY worth it? Every once in a while I get the same way too. Usually its when I'm having a bad day and that was always my comfort food. Or sometimes when I need a little sugar/caffeine pick-me-up. When was the last time you had soda? If its been a while I would say buy a can and pour a half glass.…
  • You know what? I partially feel bad for how your feeling, because I know the discontent really would make me miserable, but I am partially happy that you're in this position so that you can try to figure out what is "real" to you. Sometimes you work really hard for something that you think is what you want, but in reality…
  • Try eating stuff high in fiber whenever you get hungry. A lot of oats, or whole wheat products, plus fruit and veggies. I find that I would get really hungry when I don't have enough carbs/fiber, so I would really increase my fiber and things would work out. Plus if you go a little overboard on the fiber its not a bad…
  • I think its a good way to live, if you can hack it, but I would NOT recommend doing a cold turkey switch to raw-vegan. Its a huge transition and I saw a friend of mine go through it and the results were not pretty at first (lots of adjustment to the high veggie content, bathroom wise). Try being a vegetarian and just start…
  • i slather myself head to toe in lotion and shaving. I love that silky smooth feeling on my arms and legs, and my husband really likes how soft my skin is. it always makes me feel beautiful.
  • Especially if its in the work place, people might be afraid to offend. I have a coworker who's lost 60+ lbs and no one ever says anything. Sometimes people are just stupid.
  • im using the 30 day shred, i'm seeing results so i like it and its not terribly difficult in the moves, but it really kicks my butt. I'm not going to see results as people who do it as your supposed to, I'm doing it every other day because i have horrible knee problems, so i'm going slow. Haven't tried the ripped, but i'm…
  • My theory on weight loss pills are they are great for getting weight off, but come with side effects (both mental and physical) and in the long run are not something to take forever if you do decide to do it. If you start taking them, theres a good chance you'll see weight loss. But what happens when you stop? If you…
  • I've been on here about a month and a half, support and friends definitely sounds awesome! add me!
  • I've been there, and I've kicked the habit. I drank Diet Coke for almost 20 yrs. If you cracked open a coke across the room I could smell it. I grew up on Diet so thats what I craved, not the full sugar stuff. Sadly(thankfully) about 2 yrs ago it started giving me heart burn. REALLY BAD heart burn. I had to give it up cold…
  • I pay attention to what I eat later at night, but I dont deny myself if I'm really hungry and not just bored hungry. I will stay away from things with sugar or sweets just because I'm so sensetive to sugar that I wont fall asleep if I have it before bed. Sometimes a small bowl of cereal (or granola) will tide me over, or…
  • Try Frederic's of Hollywood. Back in the day I got one for prom there and it wasn't hundreds.
  • Today I craved Coleslaw and Peanuts... At the same time. It faded by the time I got home from work and found something tastier (and easier) than making coleslaw. Sunday it was ham. I never EVER eat ham. I bought ham. I ate ham. Yep, still hate ham.
  • Before when I had lost weight, i lost weight in my feet! none of my shoes fit! Yay new clothes for new body, but what? New feet too? What the hey!
