Only if you're neglecting your exercise and eating badly. I have a habit of staying up late myself, but I still lose weight just the same as long as I stick to my daily routines.

How often are your eating. It helps boost your metabolism if you eat every 2 to 3 hours. Try to keep it healthy ones though. Fruits, whole grain breads...stuff like that. It really helps. And drinking loads of water also helps with your metabolism, which will help you burn calories and shed those pounds faster. I was…

Actually, water helps boost metabolism, which is a good thing. You should be drinking water. It will help a lot. Try to drink at least half your body weight in ounces ( i.e. i'm 196, so i need to drink 98 ounces a day ). 1400 sounds reasonable, and as long as you make healthy choices as often as possible it will help. You…

try jump roping for a little bit, taking breaks as needed. it's a great calorie burner to earn you enough for snacks. and if you don't have a jump rope, just hop in place doing circle movements with your wrists.

It confuses me, too. I never eat my exercise calories, even when other people tell me I should. I think it's pretty stupid, since that's what you just burned, and to eat them back seems ridiculous. I say, do what works best for you honey. If not eating them is working, by all means do it. Everyone's body works differently.…

Try getting rid of the temptation by purging all the junk food out of your house. Also, try finding healthy snacks that you generally enjoy ( like fruits, crackers, or fat free popcorn ) and stock that up in the house, that way when you have the urge to binge you'll have healthy options and won't feel guilty or bloated…

My friend did this once, and she would do them everyday, but every day try to do a little more, even it's like 2 more. I say do whatever is most comfortable to you. Maybe try to push a little further and then write them down to see how well you did on an everyday basis.

Also, I read that site about how to lose weight and calorie deficit. It said to go at least 500 calories of my BMR, which is 1200 and that's exactly what I've been consuming. So, I'm confused why this week was such a failure when I was eating the amount of calories I should have.

I think so. I sort of get the BMR, I think. Mine says 1709 calories. Does that mean if I eat 1709 calories a day and sit on the couch, I will still maintain my weight, because I burn that same amount just by sitting?

my doctor told me the least i should eat is 1200. and i don't starve myself either. i haven't been hungry throughout the day, and the most i usually eat when i go over is about 1600. As for netting, I'm not sure what you mean. I'm new at this so I have absolutely no idea how to calculate that. I know dropping sizes may be…

Is more than likely that it was just water weight. That's why it's always good to weigh yourself in the morning after you peed. This happened to me once when I first was starting out. I weigh myself at night and thought I gained. Then I weighed myself the next morning only to find out that I didn't gain at all, and…

sometimes it's hard to gain motivation. what i try to do is just discipline myself. even if i eat badly, i try not to neglect my exercises and just do it, as if my life depended on it or i had no other choice. if that makes any sense. i also like to watch workout vids just for entertainment, because it usually helps me get…
