This!!! Never let a "friend" demotivate you. I have walked plenty of races. I had a friend walk a half marathon before when she was getting over an injury. You should set you mind to it and do it. You will feel great when you finish!

Pack a bag of healthy stuff - Almonds, fruit, whatever you might eat on your days off. Get in insulated lunch bag and some freezer packs if you can't use the fridge. Do they allow you to use the microwave?

When this happens to me, I eat a higher calorie snack (like almonds) at night and then try to make some of the calories up in the morning. I know the MFP diary resets at midnight, but your body isn't that precise. It's ok to be over a little tomorrow, just keep track of the calories. I certainly don't advise stuffing…
