  • My Charge HR recently broke and I am outside the 1 year warranty period. They offered a 25% discount that can be applied to purchase a new item (I'll likely end up upgrading). I didn't really push to get the discount, so I assumed it was standard practice, however the previous posters now have me questioning. Maybe the…
  • I used them for awhile and found I actually liked the shakes with cold coffee as the liquid.
  • Bump. I was recently turned onto spaghetti squash and have been looking for different ideas. Thanks for sharing!
  • I'm going to be out there a few days before you. My plan is that I'm -currently exercising more, eating pretty clean, etc. -planning to make relatively healthy meal choices out there (although I tend to consume carbs when I know I'm going to be drinking- seems to help me from getting tipsy too fast) -still planning to…
  • Yep, have the same problem here! Although this is terrible for me to admit, it doesn't bother me too much- as long as it gets good and red during an AM workout on a workday. Then EVERYONE who sees me knows I was motivated to get up and exercise (or they think I have a horrendous sunburn). I hate it when it happens on…
  • You've never met my sister- I love her, but she's mean, even in real life...
  • As of April 20, BS 1 is DONE!!!!! WOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Ok, so Wednesday didn't happen (overslept), but today did! I can definitely feel it and definitely pushed harder than I would on my own, but I really enjoyed it! Planning to go back and see if my butt (among other things) can be TRX'd into shape  Thanks, again, for the feedback!

  • Friend request sent! Like you, my sister and I ave both run several marathons- her around 10+ and me 7- but are considered "larger" (perhaps by general standards, but definitely by marathoner standards). First marathon, I remember thinking "I'm going to be able to eat so much stuff AND lose weight!" Yeah, ummmm, THAT…
  • I have it on the agenda for Wednesday morning. I'll just have to remind myself that "everyone starts somewhere" when I can't totally keep up. But, hey, this morning was spin and I didn't keep up there either- haha.. Thanks for the feedback!

  • I have never done a TRX class, but have been strongly considering; however, for some reason, I'm having an irrational reluctance to actually attend. I don't know how "set" the routine is, but could your provide some additional information about it? I've read the class description from my gym and know you use your body…

  • These look good- will have to give them a try! Thanks for posting!
  • Thanks for posting this topic! I've only had eggplant once, but am curious about it. After looking for recipes and getting a ton of eggplant parmesan, I gave up. I'll have to give some of these a try to see if it's something I want to add into my veggie rotation.

  • ALMOST there, and sooooooo excited! Actually, at this point, I have the money in the bank- ready and waiting... But, since my boyfriend introduced me to the program, and has been SUPER supporting during the process, I told him I would wait for him since it looks like we should be able to pay off our credit cards at the…
  • I'll have to take a look at the sites mentioned. I've completed Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University twice and am ALMOST debt free, except my mortage (come on April!!!) With his program, I've been doing a monthly budget now for 19 months, but I'm always looking for something that might make it better/easier since I'm…
  • Bump- I'm going through a bread making phase at the moment!
  • I echo someone's sentiments about doing this every 1-2 years. Over time I've found my over-pronation fluxes (sometimes I need more motion control, sometimes I need less). Once I'm in a good pair of shoes, many of my recurrent problems either lessen or go away completely. At least at the stores I've been to, they don't…
  • Tried, and failed miserably, with the "new" WW a few months back. I couldn't stand the database, but I'm willing to try it along with MFP.
  • Excited to see this topic- SkinnyTaste is my go-to site! Will have to look through the other suggestions when time permits!
  • Bump- need to get more use out of my crock pot!
  • Haha- it's always good to have people tell you what you don't want to hear (just do it!) Thank you for the suggestions, I'll have to check those out. I made it part way through the radio show yesterday, and signed up for a new class starting mid-August. It sounds like "Best of" tab will be a really good section and…
  • Found a class and got signed up (starting in about a month)- turns out the classes weren't showing b/c they were waiting for the announcement of the new FPU format! Yay!!
  • Hi Aaron & Joe! I've been quiet on here lately because I've basically fallen apart on both watching my food intake/exercise AND my finances. Since you've both been successful with DR, any suggestions for getting back on track (other than "just do it" ). I've tried searching DR's site to see about getting into…
  • Awww, I love watching cooking shows while exercising- I find it very motivating!!
  • English Setter, Magnum (turned 10 in May). Sweet, energetic, and LOVES to run/play!
  • Wow, that sounds very challenging- both mentally and physically!! What is the typical total distance? I've run a few marathons and they can be challenging physically, but there's usually not a lot of "thinking" about it- in fact I normally spend most of my race trying to disengage (just remembering right foot, left foot).…
  • At least for me, I just don't buy ice cream. I don't have the self-control to have a container and eat just a little.... I'm more inclined to have bananas in the house, even though I don't love the taste. It gives the texture/pleasure associated with ice cream, but I imagine I could eat a little and walk away...
