That's just awesome. My little guy never ceases to amaze me. He's 3 and the other day when I told him I was going to the gym he ran into his room and put on his sneakers and announced that he was coming too, he wanted to help Mommy get healthy!

I think you may be making a bigger deal out of this than you need to. First, who cares what anyone else things you know you're married. Second, I doubt anyone will notice. Just have fun and enjoy the time with your kiddo.

1/2 cup frozen blueberries 5 whole frozen strawberries 1 container yoplait light strawberry or blueberry yogurt 8 oz skim milk 2 tbls honey Maybe some ice if you like it really thick. Put it all in the blender and let'er rip! Actually has 16 grams of protien and under 300 calories.

It took almost 80 lbs before people started noticing my weight loss and it's awesome when they do but the first time my husband put his arms around me and said I felt smaller was the best feeling ever. I couldn't be happier for you! Try not to get discouraged, you're doing great!

Mine is all about motivation. Sometimes I use a before and after comparison, sometimes a current picture. I used to use an older picture, one of the few that I actually liked, but now I'm smaller. I really need to take a more recent picture, I've lost another 22 lbs since I took the last one.

That's my deal too. I keep track of certain things like carbs, protien, fiber and sodium in addition to calories and make sure to drink lots of water (that's key for me). I try not to be on a diet, I really have to change the kind of relationship I have with food. Good luck to you on your journey!

I have taken them in the past. I have Lymphedema due to a mastectomy and the swelling gets crazy so my oncologist prescribed them to me. I didn't find it a pain or have any adverse side effects from them.

So true. If you worked out at night and weighed yourself first thing in the morning of course the scale showed a gain. I had to learn the hard way that weighing yourself every day is not a good idea. Our weight fluctuates so much that weighing every day becomes very self-defeating. Don't give up! You're doing great!

I never think it's agood idea to force yourself to eat, you just end up feeling even more crappy. Make sure you get plenty of fluids (Gatorade was a great suggestion), get lots of rest and feel better soon.

Have a wonderful day with your son. I know it will be difficult to deal with the sadness of losing your father and the joy of your son's birthday all at once but I have faith in you. If you need to disappear into the bathroom and have a cry, let it out and go back to your son with renewed joy. I'm here if you need me.
