6 weeks?? I had mine out in 2006 and was back to work in one week, back to exercise in about 2-3. I had it done laproscopically, though. What a difference that makes! I just feel sick if I eat greasy food, or too rich. That should be limited regardless, but that sick feeling really makes me think about something before I…

Peanut butter. A serving is MUCH MUCH smaller than what I would have schmeared on prior to weighing/ measuring. I still have to measure it each time or I'm over.

Excuses, not reasons. I am 43 years old. I work full time (salary, so that makes it MORE than full time). I go to the gym at 0300 each morning. If I wait until after work, it isn't happening. I get my full day accomplished BECAUSE I go to the gym at 0300. It gives me the energy to get through the day. Stop convincing…

In my case, it DOES make a difference. I haven't eaten sucrose in five years. I eat fruit every day, several times a day. I tried eating sucrose ONCE, about a year ago. I had such an immediate migraine and gut pain I KNEW that crap was bad for me. Never again.

Stood in line for three hours to ride The Batman roller coaster at Six Flags in St Louis. When I was getting into the ride, I was too fat and had to make the walk of shame off. Didn't get to ride it after all those hours in line. Humiliating and hurt beyond words. My family got to ride it, though. And that's all that…

When my niece kept "expecting" when she wasn't married, my brother made a point at a family cookout to wave a hot dog in her face and ask her that very same question.

My latest favorite salad dressing is chocolate balsamic vinegar mixed with blood orange olive oil. Yummy!!!

Roasted asparagus with lemon infused olive oil, with fresh ground pepper and sea salt. Mixed green salad with the millions of combinations of flavored oils and flavored vinegars (my favorite: dark chocolate balsamic vinegar with blood orange olive oil- OMG...) Tomatoes, fresh buffalo mozz cheese, basil drizzled with olive…

I simply get pissed at the amount of calories that carbs take. I always regret it later, because I think of all the other things I could have eaten had I chose low cal carbs such as veggies instead of bread, etc. I eat tons of hard boiled eggs, egg whites, tuna, salmon, chicken, tilapia, cottage cheese, Fage. When I want…

Well, you just now ate a croissant..... here's your sign.

Have you heard of this thing called "protein"?

Make a generalized offer. Send out a shout to selected friends on a private message on facebook, and just say you have lots of clothes up for grabs, if anyone knows of someone who could use them, to send you a PM. That way you aren't pointing to any one person. You're asking the masses if they know of someone who could use…

This is why I go to the gym at 0300 each morning. Me, one or two "regulars", and that's about it. Love it.

Thanks for the great feedback!

I generally eat a MINIMUM of one hard boiled egg per day. It's not the yoke cholesterol that'll get ya- it's the fat you're frying an egg in. Eggs get a bad rap. It's a complete protein, one of very few.

^^ That's the one.

Popcorn at the movies.... every Friday night.

It's my goal this week to give it a whirl. Using this: http://fitbottomedeats.com/2013/02/how-to-make-homemade-protein-bars-the-nutrition-bar-formula-that-ended-my-powerbar-addiction/2/

I laughed so hard, I almost shot my whole chicken taco out my nose.

Oatmeal raisin- then tell yourself at least it's healthier than the chocolate chip!! (lol)

90% of the time- I'd choose the salmon. Maybe even 99%. Once in a blue moon I'd get the burrito, but that's rare. I actually ENJOY eating this way now. Never thought I'd say that!! Been about five years of eating healthy, and it's just a way of life for me. My husband and son will order that burrito right in front of me,…

I guess it depends on what you consider "Yummy". I used to think greasy, salty, mega sized meals were yummy. I haven't thought that way in five years. Now yummy means: veggies, olive oil, grilled fish, chicken breast, lean steak, protein shakes of all kinds of concoctions, almond butter, baked potatoes totally naked, etc.…

*Smacks myself in the forehead* DOH!!! Why in the hell do you want to do something that's not enjoyable???????????

MY THOUGHTS: I would never do it, just because I think it's a carbohydrate overload, protein deficient dietary plan. I would definitely suggest eating 5-6 smaller meals a day (which is what I do), but not with the Special K plan. Eating all those carbs with so little protein and good fats, I'd be hangry all day. Again-…

Purchase a heart rate monitor if you want to calculate exercise time at the gym. Buy a FitBit if you want to see what you burn in a whole day, rather than a specific time frame.
