if your being more active you should increase your food intake. It is definately a "JOURNEY" & NOT an easy one at that. Just keep hanging in there. You can do anything you want to do. I Love smoothies....I make mine with Spinach, Celery, any kind of frozen or fresh fruit, Fage (greece) 0% all natural yogurt, either coconut water, 1% milk or reg, van or choc Soy milk....YUMMO!! you can't even taste the spinach or celery. I want to add protein powder too just have to buy some soon.

I DO....even if my numbers are in BIG BOLD RED!!! it just helps me keep track of MY days, how often it occurs & I try not to do it too often. But when it happens it's still part of my journey. I know every day can't be perfect.

Sounds crazy but maybe you need to eat more...if you lifting weights & staying UNDER your calorie goal. Plus your probly building more muscle so it weighs more. I was told to NEVER go UNDER 1200 calories a day. But with you lifting weights it should probly be a lil higher than that. You can do it!!! Just keep working at it…

I don't think you have to eat all your exercise calories back. As long as you eat atleast 1200 aday your doing good.

it may sound CRAZY to you but you NEED to EAT more to fuel your body properly to LOSE weight. You should NEVER go under 1200 calories.

I started getting back in the exercising mode again & I haven't taken a day of rest unless I feel like it or I can't fit it in that day. I have gone 2 weeks all the way through without a rest day.

I'm 4' 11" I used to wear HI heels every day. Since I gained so much weight I can barely wear a wedge. Im afraid I will turn my heels into flip flops....LOL!! everytime I wore them my knees hurt my feet felt like they were like over cooked hot dogs...LOL!!

First I don't think you should look at it as a "DIET" just go with ONE day at a time. Every day won't be PERFECT just get back on track when you feel you have had a not so good food intake day. Don't ever listen to anyone else. YOU are the only one who lives with YOU ALL of the time.

I was told to NEVER go UNDER 1200 calories. If you earn more exercising you have the OPTION of eating them or not. I just keep them around if I go over my 1200 calories. I don't ever use them all.

be careful with gronola bars & breakfast bars...My Dr. adviced me not to even eat them better off going with a bowl of cereal or homemade smoothie because they have so many sugars & preservatives in them.

Congratulations on the 5K. I'm not sure how long it takes. I hate when my knee starts to give me problems & I know its cause I have a lot of weight on my joints...LOL!!! Well hope your back & running soon. take it easy.
