One of my female gym friends coincidentally just posted this on Facebook:

Hiking first. Great exercise and a lovely view. And then cycling!

I've thought about a meet up as well. I'm in the LA area and would love to meet some fellow MFP'ers. :) Maybe even meet up at the gym! :D

When I do a lot of weights, I notice that my body often does an even swap of fat for muscle so I don't see a change in weight on the scale for a couple of weeks and then I'll get a big drop and then the cycle repeats. It may just be your body adjusting especially given how close you are to your goal weight. Eating clean…

Congratulations! And I totally must raid your closet for that outfit!

I've never seen this at any gym. Of course I've also noticed that when I has fatter and more insecure, I was certain people were giving me dirty looks, but now that I'm more fit and confident, I don't even notice if people are looking at me or not (unless it's that one guy at the gym whom I like).

Realizing that the reason the arm rest between the seats on the airplane wouldn't go all the way down was because of my fat hips. Now I have enough room in my seat to put my purse right next to me.

I used to feel the same way and would hardly go, but then I started meeting some great people and found out that the majority of people at the gym are really supportive and non-judge mental. If you go in with a negative attitude, you'll scare off others, but if you're friendly and open, you will meet some great people. I…

Better clothes, to be proud of myself again and, hopefully, a better love life.

My goal is 153 based on my body fat percentage. My current weight is 157. I was down to 155, but when I started doing weight training, I bumped up in weight though I got smaller in size at the same time.

First off, you don't have to restrict yourself. Just have less of it. Right now your mind set is focused on "I want to eat that, but I can't if I want to lose weight." Instead your focus should be "I can eat that, but I don't want to because I want to lose weight." As long as you treat this as punishment and denial, it is…

First off, what is your body fat percentage? Perhaps it's not a matter of fat at all, just that you don't like how your skinny body looks to which I'd suggest weights to tone up. That will help burn off excess fat you may have while giving your body more definition.

The Notebook and Avatar. And I really don't want to either.

Happens to a lot of us. It happened. Just go forward. It won't completely reverse everything, just give you a little extra to work on for the next week.

It's not going to be completely accurate, but the point isn't to be precise, but rather to take in fewer calories than you burn. Remember that even your calorie counts on your food or estimates for your total calories you need are not going to be precise either, but data from food labels and treadmills/HRMs/MFP are going…

You aren't an *kitten* if you say no. All you say is "No thanks." and go about your day. It's not like they are trying to shove it down your throat. People for the most part are just sharing goodies so that they won't have to eat them all or, in the case of one place I worked at, they were ordering the cheapest food to…

I post photos to see how far I've come for my health. It's a way for me to visually assess my progress and a reminder of how far I've come. Losing weight for me wasn't about looks. It was about my health, about being able to be more active and stronger and about accomplishing something that was important to me. People tell…

I did that as I lost weight. Made it even more exciting when I could finally fit in it. Of course it doesn't work for bras. :(

The people who mind don't matter and the people who matter don't mind.
-
I think "Why can't I manage to do as well with my other goals as I have with losing weight?" and then try thinking up ways to change that.

Don't forget the Poptarts.

I don't check the forums as much as I used to because the same questions seem to get asked over and over. It could just be fatigue that is causing fewer people to answer.

All the guys on MFP are sexy... Except that one guy. He's just drop dead gorgeous! Not saying who though, because then all you girls will be trying to get him and I'm saving him for myself.

Well, I hope you are having a great day... Or evening now I suppose. Keep being fabulous!
-
Good job, gorgeous!!

Life is pretty awesome over here. How about you?

The biggest challenge is actually maintaining after the weight loss. We can't just go back to our old eating habits. That's why I tried to pick an eating and fitness lifestyle that I was willing to maintain for the rest of my life so that I could keep the weight off and stay healthy. However you choose to lose weight, make…

Spinning has really helped me tone my legs and is a great cardio workout.

This! It took me a year and a half to drop my weight which averaged a pound a week. I'm an emotional eater too so that slowed me a bit, but I still got there and you will, too. You are already 1/4 of the way there and in less time than it took me so be proud. You are doing great! You can read this for some perspective:…

I can't see your diary, but it sounds like you may be getting too much sodium. That can cause you to retain water. Also stop weighing yourself every day. Just pick one day a week and do it first thing in the morning after you go to the bathroom and before you eat or drink anything. Your weight constantly fluctuates. It…
