Check out fatfreevegan.com they have great ideas for low cal (no oil) recipes. I'm not a vegan, but I love this site. Everything is no dairy, no meat, no oil, thus it is very low cal. It also gives you some good ideas for cooking low cal. For example, soups with no oil or subsitute apple sauce for butter in a recipe. I…

I found the new threat. Sorry, I haven't checked-in for several weeks. I went on maintenance for several weeks during a stressful time at work and have been back at it since October 1. Last time I checked in with you all I believe I was 215 lbs. Today I weighed in at 211.6 lbs. (down 3.4 lbs since 9/24) IT IS GOOD TO BE…

If we could look at your food diary we might be able to give you some tips on things to change to add foods that would make you feel more full. Unfortunately, at 5'2" (which is how tall I am), you can eat about 1,600 calories to maintain your current weight of 140. If you want to lose, you need to eat less. Even at 1,200…

1. posted pictures of myself very fat and very thin in a place where I see them everyday 2. I log everything I put in my mouth NO MATTER WHAT (if you do that, eventually the rest falls in to place - in about 3 days or 3 weeks; I promise) 3. I am on this site all the time (if keeps me focused and motivated) and I have lots…

You can eat healthy and cheap and not even cook! I eat a lot of healthy raw food all the time: banana/apple/peanut butter & celery bags of lettuce, cherry tomatoes & fat free dressing pb&j sandwiches cheese and crackers canned soups subway and certain taco bell items can be very inexpensive and healthy GOOD LUCK! YOU CAN…

My annoying husband is underweight. But, he has been eating healthier and is exercising now (whereas he did not before). I will refrain from using four letter word references as to how a person could possibly be underweight and not exercise. Don't even get me going! But seriously, my entire family is healthier. My kids are…

If you are unhappy with your appearance, weight, energy level or your fitness level, then yes, improving those things will make you happier. There is also a huge confidence and sense of control that comes from being able to be in control of your body and your fitness. I can't tell you how wonderful it feels for me to feel…

My apron is huge. I still have a lot to lose. Never had surgery, just fat. I'm doing it all and hoping for the best. Lotion, losing slow, exercise. Need to do better with water.

Combine fruits and veggires with things you like fruit I'm cerial, pb on apples, carrots dipped in salsa, slice bananas on toast. Some things you may prefer rtaw rather than cooked (like spinach). Put some peas in your pasta or brocoli and cheese. You can do this!

I pay close attention to how I feel after I eat things. I have learned that when I have a meal that combines protein, carbs, and fat (such as crackers, cheese, fruit; or pb&j; or granola, fruit + yogurt), I feel full and satisfied until my next meal. I attempt to follow this guideline at all meals. I have found that…

Yay! Way to go. You are taking charge. LOVE IT. You look great and healthier :)))))

WW is a great system. It works if you work it. It is expensive though and I have found that I love the 24/7 support and convenience of MFP. AND IT IS FREE! And you still have all the knowledge that you gained from WW to carry with you. Best of all worlds. WELCOME!

Folks didn't notice until I was down over 40 lbs. The heavier you are, the harder it is to be certain (I think because a little comes off everywhere). You are doing great, keep it up. And you reminded me, I NEED NEW UNDERWEAR!

OMG unbelievable. Simply remarkable. I just can't believe this.

Wow such a change! Thanks a ton for sharing! You look like yourself again. What a wonderful thing. Keep on taking care of yourself.

He'll potty train when he's ready. He's two, you have a tug or war going on. Drop it. I had three boys. None of them potty trained until they were over 3. I read books and had some videos that mentioned or modeled potty training. Those seemed to help, but mostly, they just did it when they were ready. I thought my 2nd and…

I would not be concerned about sugar from fruit. To maximize weight loss (in your case), I'd try the WW tricks to increase metabolism = track water intake and start drinking your water early in the day and keep protein up. I see your protein numbers going up and down. If you keep them up, I think you'll experience greater…

If everything else was in check and you were only over on sugar, no biggie. If the sugar was from fruit, no biggie. Now if you went over on calories, high on sodium, sugar and everything else . . . that's a different matter.
