Thanks for the advice! I saw that from your Green juice diet that you decided to splurge on a more expensive juicer than the Black and Decker! I'm gonna see if my local library has "the big book of juices"

I haven't checked with my doctor. I figure if I can eat crap food for 10 days without checking with my doctor, why check when switching to more nutrients? Best of luck. Keep us posted on your progress. Question: What juicer are you using? I'm looking for a juicer that costs no more than $50. I've been looking at Black and Decker one at Walmart that's $29 before tax. Any advice? Thanks!

@Atlantique -- WOW. This is the MOST helpful comment thus far. It's good to know that the portions are tiny and that they expect you to round out every meal with your own fresh veggies and dairy products. That means even though it's convenient, it's not as easy as it seems! This will help me make my decision...

Thanks for all the great feedback. I know diets don't work. I had success with Slim Fast years ago and ended up gaining all the weight I lost back as soon as I ended the program. Also I tried Jenny Craig and only maintained. I'm still curious to see if I can jumpstart my weight loss for a month and then have a plan ready…

I have JM's Yoga Meltdown DVD as well as 30 Day Shred. I definitely like 30 Day Shred better. The Yoga's too boot-camp like for my liking and doesn't incorporate relaxation/breathing techniques well. Hope that helps!

@jonikeffer -- Thanks for the help. My levels are at 19.4. My doctor wants me to follow her plan -- 50k IUs weekly for 8 weeks, then 800 IUs a day, then come back to check my D levels in 6 months. Unfortunately due to lack of health insurance and a general personal preference/ignorance to avoid doctors these lab results…

Wow. Thanks so much for all of the helpful posts and messages. I appreciate it all. I am very interested in seeing how the increase will improve my mood as I have been feeling down the last 6 months and have gained a lot of weight! I can't wait to see the results!
