Congrats on your engagement. How special! My engagement happened in June 2012. I was not surprised that I was getting engaged because we had already discussed it and looked at rings. However, I was surprised by the timing. My future hubby and both are from Chicagoland and recently moved to Wisconsin for better job…

Kale is pretty good. Very much luck collard greens but a less vineagry taste. My favorite things to do with Kale are (1) Juice It! (If you have Netflix, check out Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead. It got me into juicing). (2) Make Kale chips in the oven. Google it!

Hello all! I'm the creator of this group and am getting married in September 2013. My goal is to lost 40 pounds by my date = 5/month = 1/week. So doable. What are you doing to lose weight?
-
My date is also 9.28.13. Let's connect via private message too.

Would love to create a group with you ladies. Any ideas for going about this?

Absolutely not! You were direct and honest. I'll share a personal story with you. A few years ago, when I was in school, I got involved with a person-to-person marketing "pyramid" business. I won't mention any names (Amway) but the sales tactics we were encouraged to use were pretty agressive. Good products or not, as a…

Kicking butt. Awesome job! :)

Thanks for sharing. I will have to try those as well!

Thank you! The challenge began today. 10 to 16 pounds lost, here I come! :)

A repeat of most comments: PORTION CONTROL and PLANNING. Plan to sample what you want in small portions. If you're pestered, mention that you have a workout class to go to shortly. If you don't meet your plan, eat what you want and work out extra hard the day before or after. Hope that helps!

You're welcome. I went to Trader Joe's over the weekend for a few items, and the checkout person suggested the combo. It tastes amazing!

 Thanks for all the great ideas. I will have to make a list!

My cousin got a custom-made dress on eBay for under $200! Just go to ebay, search custom wedding dresses and you'll find a ton! My cousin's dress came from China, which took about a four weeks in shipping to arrive, but once it got here it looked amazing!

Jaw-dropping results. Literally! Great job! :)

Slim in 6 is also great -- but gets rather boring, repetitive. Regardless, it delivers great results!
-
Great job. I look forward to matching your numbers! :)

If there's room for more I would also like to join. :)

I also have a weighted hula hoop I bought on ebay a few years back. With shipping all in all it cost me just under $25. It's fun to use while I watch tv -- just make sure you have enough space. Best of luck!

AMAZING. Thanks for sharing. :)

amazing story. thanks so much for sharing. It's amazing the things we take for granted.

I'm doing Slim in 6 now. Found a schedule on teambeachbody.com. It put me at one day start it up. rest of week run ramp it up. I like to turn the music OFF and put on Pandora since the music sucks. It's only been a week and a half for me and already my stomach seems like it's shrinking! :)

For now my little Black and Decker is working pretty well. I noticed that it juices fruits a lot better than veggies but for now the $30 juicer is what I can afford. Around new years I plan on upgrading -- either by asking my family for an upgraded juicer for a Christmas gift or buying one myself then. I've made 2 juice…

@StormChaser. Thanks for the "you can't go wrong" advice and congrats on your progress. 20 pounds is wonderful. I'm excited to feel the reboot effects. :) What type juicer do you use?
-
I bought a Black and Decker one from WalMart for just under $30. Way more affordable than some of the others. I wish it had a wider spout and mouth but it got the job done. I had to cut up the fruit and veggies into medium chunks to fit them into the mouth. Juicing started slow but as I moved along it got faster and I've…
