Do you own a wok? If not I suggest you buy one. One tablespoon of oil (I prefer Canola) is all you need to turn out great Chinese style dishes. I took one chicken breast, sliced it up, added some frozen Chinese vegetables, low sodium soy sauce and a little sesame ginger sauce and it was enough for two meals!

Started with a variety of sit-ups with and without weights 35 minute stationary bike with random levels of tension 45 minute treadmill: ran 2.5 miles and walked .5 mile

Honey mustard by itself makes a great salad dressing. Also, fresh squeezed lemon along with a variety of herbs is a delicious alternative too. I also make a dressing with EVOO, garlic powder or fresh minced garlic, oregano, salt & pepper to taste and mustard (optional). I have not bought salad dressing in years and enjoy…

Here's my suggestion: Buy a wok! It is by far the most versatile utensil in my kitchen. Dice up so boneless chicken breast, add fresh veggies, season to taste, use low sodium soy sauce and brown rice and you will be surprised how much nutrition you will get. That daily requirement of vegetables will be met and it is so…

Mo, my brother! Glad you made it! Looking forward to your posts and folks, I'm telling you this guy has great advise. We had a conversation about running last Saturday and it has made a world of difference in my endurance. Went from not being able to run a full mile to running 2 miles without panting for air. Next up is 3…

It does get easier, and yes there is a lot of fear in the beginning especially if you haven't done anything like this in awhile, if at all. But everybody here is here to support you like we support each other. I started out at 299 and was at 287 when I started this site. I tell anybody who will listen about how this has…

I'm making chicken and kale soup right now. Google it and any other cravings you may desire. Another of my favorites is chicken with black beans and brown rice: http://www.food.com/recipe/chicken-with-black-beans-and-rice-21768 I skip the pimientos and it is one of the best dishes ever!

It's the IPOD all the way. I choose what tunes will keep me in stride and once I'm locked in I don't even think about the workout. When running on the treadmill, I do have songs of choice: "Time Won't Pass Me By" : Hall & Oates and "Runnin' Down A Dream: Tom Petty are usually the ones I choose to get a good run on. Today…

My brother is a personal trainer. I usually bike on the weekend approximately 31 miles from my home in Westchester to New York City. The first time I did I thought the numbers were way too high but he thought they were probably right in line.

Welcome and good luck to you. This has been a godsend for me and I hope it will be the same for you. I've lost 14 pounds since I've been on here and looking to drop about 23 more in my first phase. To me it's as addicting as facebook, much healthier however! Let's all help each other and I look forward to your success!

Is there any exercise in your daily activities? If not, get out there. That's a way to snack and burn the calories as well.

Oatmeal with fruit is my favorite go to. The instant with the fruit in it already has too much salt for my tastes, but I use instant oatmeal and put my own fruit in. My favorite: sliced apple with cinnamon, nutmeg, granulated brown sugar, milk and raisins. Tastes just like you're eating apple pie! Look up all of the…

I recommend a warm bath in Epsom Salts. I used to think that was an old wives tale until I got older and believe me, the next day, you will feel better.

I hear you. I recently did the same since I was studying for the NYS Health Insurance exam. Take care of the task at hand and I'm sure you'll do well. I did and it was a struggle, but I passed with flying colors. It just makes you nervous. Good luck!

TGI FRIDAYS has a lower calorie menu too. The first time we ordered it, it was actually too much and had to take some of it home.

Make a pasta primavera with it, some mushrooms, diced tomato onion and garlic. Saute in olive oil and add WHOLE WHEAT pasta or brown rice. If it wasn't for the fact I just made a pot of chicken tortellini soup I'd be heading for the kitchen to make some!

I'm a Bally's guy but for the bang for the buck, I hear Planet Fitness is very good. All depends on what's around you.

I hear you and welcome. I too have lost quite a bit of weight since starting this program. Has me a little concerned. I'm sure the metabolism will slow down sometime, but I am quite happy as well. Good luck to you and if you need to share ideas, just holla'.

Hey Angela, I'm just getting started on this program, but in 16 days I've lost 11 pounds. I guess the real reason is that I've bought in as far as posting everything and exercising, although sometimes it's hard to get motivated to get to the gym but once I'm there...look out. Two things I can think of: One is that maybe…

Google low carb foods and pick from there. There may be something on a list that you might find enjoyable.

Walking sounds good. In fact I think I'll take one myself! I'm a little sore as well from doing some intense cardio. If you're really sore may I suggest taking a warm bath in epsom salts. I used to think it was just an old wives tale until I tried it and it really works!

Maybe I'll try this with sweet potato instead...
