Congrats nice accomplishment, I just got back into hiking last spring, great way to stay in shape. A great way to clear your head of a weeks worth of stress.

3 Months - drop another 10 to 15 pounds and break the 30 mile barrier (cycling) 1 year - off all blood medications and reach the healthy weight class.

Everyone goes through rough patches, just take it a day at a time.

Congrats on meeting your monthly goals. Try to find an activity you both enjoy and start out slow and build. I would not wait until vacation is over start eating healthy now.

Know how you feel, I had a similar problem with my knees, I switched over to cycling, maybe try swimming less stress on the joints.

I had the same issue when I started a few months ago. Had to experiment with the seat hight to get the proper extension of my legs.

Completed 15 mile bike ride. Blood work came back with good numbers. Dr. took me off one of my blood pressure meds. (one to go)

I know how you feel, for the last month I have stayed at the same weight, eating better ramped up exercise, yet nothing on the scale. But I must say I feel much better and have lost some inches around the middle. Can't let the scale get you down.
