Hummus, peanut butter, ranch dressing. Some people steam or boil them, then add butter & pepper OR butter & brown sugar. There's honey glazed. You can always google for new ideas for them =]

I made 15 of these cute little ornaments as Christmas gifts. Pattern found at allcraftsblogs.com under the Christmas Ornaments (over 100 ornaments page). The pattern does NOT include the home-made mini pom poms. Those are by Craft Passion.com The color is off, bcuz I used the webcam--batteries in digital were no good.…

There are times I have accidentally forgotten to log items but lately, if I've gone over calories (due to severe munchies before TOMs arrival), I have left off some things. BAD HABIT to get into!!! I am usually quite honest with my logging though.

Update: forgot a few workouts.... This week I have walked the equivalent of 12.79 miles. Total miles to date: 279.63

that's why there is turkey bacon YUM!! =] still quite a bit of sodium, but less fat.

I beg to differ. Muscle DOES weigh more than fat. Muscle is more dense and it takes a larger amount of fat to = the same amount as muscle. Look at this photo below... there is MORE fat to = the amount of muscle that is there. 5 lbs is 5 lbs but there is more fat here than muscle.

^THIS^ I used to keep mine private. I think with people that are really heavy like me are embarrassed by their calorie intake amount and also could be dependent on the food they have available to them. My husband has been unemployed since summer 2009. He found (what we thought) was a great job in October, until his boss…

I'm 5'7" I have a long way to go but my goal weight is between 140-150 I was 168 in high school and had a bit of a tummy... lost 25 lbs when I ran cross country my Junior year. I say 140s is reasonable weight for our height. We'll just have to see when we get there =]

I'm 5'7"-ish and my goal weight was 150 but I remember being 168 in high school and losing 25 lbs when I ran cross country. So anywhere between 140-150 is my goal. We'll see when I get closer.

It may take 3500 calories burned for one pound weight lost, BUT you won't lose 1 pound all at once. Just like previous posts.... you don't use up all the gas in your car all at once and you can't use all the power in a battery all at once. Just think of it slowly melting away as it [energy] is being used up.

I, IMYarnCraz33, take this pledge. Let's make this a GREAT year!!!

weigh in: 320.9 (loss of 8.9 lbs this last week) I weighed myself TWICE... first time I had my jeans on (oops) 2nd time was 3 lbs less. Who knew jeans weighed that much?! My jeans are fitting looser--could put a fist at the waistline & still feel comfortable in them. I've reached my goal--well am close enough. I wanted to…

AWESOME!!!! Congrats on your weight loss. Keep up the good work!

I definitely think it should be a requirement for restaurants no matter if they're a chain or privately owned.

329.8 (0.9 lb loss)

I beg to differ... if you weigh more or have more muscle, you burn more. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/metabolism/WT00006 "Your body size and composition. The bodies of people who are larger or have more muscle burn more calories, even at rest."

if you use photobucket (as I saw in one of your other posts) hover your mouse over the photo and you should see a box appear below the photo with a few options. Click on the image link (which copies it), then paste it in a message. You will have to tweak it a bit and change the IMG at the beginning and end of the link to…

I made a hunter's beanie for my hubby. made from a pattern I found online. Finished it last month. I made a pet bed--was suppose to be for our cat, but the bed is too small for him, although he has tried to get into it but ends up laying on top of it. Finished 3 days ago. Also from a pattern found online,
