Welcome back (and go drink more water!!!) I am good on eating and water for Day 1 & 2. Am a bit behind on the exercise... the back to school and extracurricular activities for the kids have put a crimp in my evening work out time, which is when I usually did my challenge exercises. However, I think we should…

OK, so I just realized I posted this in the wrong place... reposting here now that I realized I goofed  The chicken makes a great topper for this salad, or without the salad as a great main course dish. Salad: 1/2 c shelled pistachio nuts, shelled & finely ground 1/2 + 1/4 t salt 1/2 t. + 1 pinch freshly ground black…

Wow! an hour an 15.... now I feel like a slacker for only putting in 30 this morning!
-
40 minutes this morning!
-
Was in for another 40 minutes of breast stroke this morning. Your 28 minutes yesterday was nothing to sneeze at, keep it up!
-
Wonderful idea! I am in... Put in 40 minutes of breast stroke this morning. Water was VERY warm at 5 a.m. Ready for it to be a little cooler!
-
What an amazing, motivational idea.... I love it! I am definitely interested.

Initially, I was confused by this too, but it comes down to the combination of the higher resistance of the water and the combination of muscle groups that are working. When doing the breaststroke, your core muscles are engaged more, your arms are pulling harder and your legs get more of a workout from the frog kick than…

I suppose that it is like anything else, it can work if you are serious and stick with it. I have actually seen fairly decent results with it. I would say that the definition of fitness falls in line more with an Eastern, as opposed to a Western, philosophy with a high emphasis on balance and core toning. Running through…

Thank you so much for heading this up and pulling it all together... Great job so far! I am looking forward to it... Unfortunately I will be no help coming up with a creative name, but I would appreciate something that wasn't orange

Erica, I know how you feel and you should not be so rough on yourself. I am in the same situation and I find that some days my best effort just does not seem good enough. But you must remember that all you can do is the best you can do and move on from there. As many times as it has been said before, wight loss is a…

Count me in.

Wonderful job sticking with it and I know it feels great to have your efforts recognized. As an aside, I LOVE your philosophy on giving the weight away... it is not lost because we don't really want it back!! Thanks for sharing!

Subway has decent salads if you have them add a lot of spinach.

Oh no, bummer on the sesame seeds, but you sound like you adjusted with amazing results! Keep up the good work and remember that you are worth it...

I have had the same issue in the past... now I focus on doing the best that I can and being patient with myself. Remember, we are human, it is normal to not be perfect. Allow yourself those imperfections and be gentle with yourself. You make one decision now and another one in the next minute. Focus on making the best…
