^^ This is totally what I do. Did that this weekend, and paid the price at my weigh in this morning.

currently drooling...

Thanks for this. The 2 websites Sarauk2sf recommended for TDEE calculations estimated my TDEE between 1976-2126. When I looked over an 8-9 week portion of my diary (and then a separate 5 week period), based on the TDEE calculation she gave, my TDEE is 1700. So based on that, I am manually setting my calorie intake to be…

bump...anyone?

I think the maintenance thing is screwy on here. I hit my end goal in September and then switched to maintain, which took me from 1200 cals to 1640 cals (without exercise cals). Since then I've gained 8-10lbs. Some of it is muscle I think, but definitely not all of it. I exercise 7 days a week. So clearly, for me at least,…

good luck to you on this. you are a stronger person than i am. can't give either up :ohwell:

Yep, Saturday was awful for me. I ate my entire's day calories (plus exercise calories) at one get together. I was only there for 5 hours. Not only did I eat all of my calories at that get together, I ate more than that. I was feeling it that night...my stomach was in pain. Didn't exercise yesterday (mistake) and felt so…

my sister has been doing MFP and has lost like 20-25 lbs and she does not exercise. she just watches her calories. i hate her for it :)

my sister's wedding. i had been trying to lose weight already (on my own with no success) and then she decided to move the wedding up and make me the matron of honor. knew i had to do something! i owe this all to her getting married!
-
when i reach my goal (which should be this week or next week), i plan to make a new goal of losing another 5-10lbs :) my "treat" to myself won't really be until my birthday in October when i have my very first day since starting MFP where i won't log any food and eat whatever i want and however much i want!!! i am sooooo…

no one??

no one else has ever had this feeling?

i don't pay attention to my sugars. most of mine come from fruit or yogurt so whatever. i do watch my sodium but i am over at least 3-5 days a week. sometimes it is just slightly over, other days i am like 1.5 times my daily allotment of 2500mg. i mean, if i can find a way to reduce it down then i will but sometimes i just…

The only thing lost during cooking is water. You don't lose any of the meat when cooking. That's why you weight it before hand. Weighing it after you cook it, but entering it in MFP as raw would be under counting the calories.

i don't know what i would do without my food scale. i use it for EVERYTHING!!!!
-
i still drink it. i don't see anything wrong with it. i usually only drink a glass at dinner anyways. i say if you want some, drink some. it's certainly better than some of the other things you could be drinking (or eating) instead!

i found that replacing the water with chicken broth improves the flavor tremendously! whatever amount of water you need, use the same amount of chicken broth.
-
i made this over the weekend. based on the picture i was expecting more of a bread texture/taste. the flavor was awesome...just like pumpkin pie. but unfortunately, it was not like bread at all. it was just pumpkin pie in loaf form without a crust...which is not what i was going for/expecting.

turkey pepperoni is about all i add for toppings. all of the toppings i like are super high in fat/calories (i like meat pizzas).

^^this! you don't have to eliminate everything in order to lose weight. in fact i still eat the things i like, just use portion control and find healthier ways to prepare them

yum!!! going to try it this weekend. like some other posters said, i am going to use liquid egg substitute instead of the whole eggs. hope it comes out!!

^ same thing here. i never eat my exercise calories...well okay, i eat maybe 30 at the most. but typically i have 200-300 left from exercise. i've been at this for 8.5 weeks and have continued to see great results, so i will stick with not eating them until things start to change. do what works for you!
-
i envy you for having that many left for the day. i could easily obliterate 1000 calories in about 10 seconds. too many things come to mind as far as what i would eat...plus if i wrtie them down, i'll start drooling. let's just say, what i would eat...it wouldn't be pretty!

i actually made this earlier in the week. i made all of the substitutions i talked about except i completely omitted the relish (hubby threw a fit that pickles would be in it). it turned out pretty good. it ended up being 305 calories per serving (6 srevings total) because one of the rolls didn't go into the dish and i…
