You'll be fine to cut out the cardio if you are subbing in with something else. Plyo is a great working and Kenpo is ok too. I often follow the lifting P90X calendar with my running schedule and cut them out as well. Good luck, it is a great program.

just one mapmyrun, honestly it's the only one I've used. It has all my data on it from way back, upgraded to MVP, great maps and reports. Use the training plans with MVP too. Though I don't sync to MFP since I am not logging burned calories.

Agree! I love racing, it is a different environment and sence of accomplishment when you are done. But you do not need to race to be a runner!

A cool shower, or at least a cold shot at the end. It brings down your core temp.

Are you able to get off the treadmill and run outside? Treadmill is horrible for me as well. I can run forever outside but something about going nowhere with nothing to look at is painfull. If not, like some of the others said, listen to a book or music to pass them time. Slow down it shouldn't be painful. Set a program on…

Move your snack up to 4:00-4:30 add some good protein, it should hold you over until dinner after your workout. I usually have a can of tuna and 1/2 apple about 4:00 and run about 5:30-6:00 and have a smaller dinner about 7:30-8:00

This, have a Rumble Roller, love it. Don't use it as much as I should though.

This too!!

A few others said it but the more your exercise you will likely find that you aren't as tired all the time. I have three kids and both me and my husband work FT. My girls are all 18 months apart so at one point I had two babies and a toddler but found ways to keep them busy. Involve your son - He can 'help' with some floor…

Said several times, but natural peanut butter and almonds

I am hooked as well. At least one full serving, plain non fat variety, with a touch of honey and berries. A little bit of natrual peanut butter as well if I need more calories for the day. I love the low carb high protein mix, I am just sorry it took me so long to try it.

Operations Manager for a National Distribution Center

Salmon - fish - cakes just like crab cakes. I found the recipe on kraft foods.com. In the healthy living section...very good!

Sounds like you are in good shape, I wouldn't recommend girly push up's either. It may be a mind over matter preventing you from bending your arms. Make your goal just to do one not it. Check your form, they are much harder with your hips loose and your head down. Find a perfect plank and send your belly button down at the…

Me too. Or berries and honey. 3 servings yesterday!

I usually have a volume problem, too. So I will grab some raw almonds (good fat and calories) with my carrorts or other veggie. This way my stomach and mind are both 'full'. I would agree with finding good ways to add healthy fat, it will keep you full. Good luck!

Don't rethink it at all. It is great, just make sure to take a lot of water and be hydrated before you go. I think it is a great experieince and look forward to my class once a week.

This ^^ I get up at 3:30, I need to be done working out by 5:00 to be in the shower, get my 3 girls up and out the door by 6:10 to be at work by 6:45. I set my cell phone alarm to really loud in the hall or some place that it could wake my kids if it goes for too long. It makes me shoot out of bed to get it. Once I…

It sounds silly, but is a good idea. I am is a similar boat where I when I am working projects it isn't uncommon to get up and move too much for hours and hours. Other days I walk for miles (I am an operations manager for a very large distribution center). I may need to look at Wal-Mart today to see if I can find…
