Licia! Great thing on planning your meals. I cooked for a week so I can just mix and match: turkey with green beans or pork with swiss chard, stuff like that...a little blend, but safe as far as calories. I need to jazz it up a bit, and I will soon. Still getting used to my new kitchen. I noticed that occasionally our…

Morning! I woke up and did Yoga X!!! Today I really enjoyed upward dog - I felt a lot of pent up stiffness in my lower back. I could tell I did a lot of good to alleviate that. I did not do venyasas the way the man and the "kids" were - I am giving my elbow a break!!! I am sharing this with you, so especially those who…

Good morning! wow! So many new people! Sorry for being MIA!!! I took a week off because of my cold. I did Cardio X yesterday and shoulders/bi/tri today - I am barely alive after that. I am glad for Lora in that DVD - she is close to my age and doing push-ups in a simplified/easy way, that makes me feel better.…

Oh, and I saw that you are seeking advise on stretching - Slim in 6 comes with it's own stretch routines. a short one with each workout, and a longer separate one (like 15 min) that you can do on your day off or whenever you feel like you need a stretch!

hi, there - yes - it is a DVD workout with a lot of online support and community for support. Plus you get a coach for free!!!! you can send me any questions if you like - I've been doing DVDs for a year and really find it the most convenient, consistent and effective way to work out!

hmm....it's not only about pounds. I only lost 10 lbs since last year, but I totally reshaped my body... I continue to change, but my weight stays pretty much the same (135-138) there is much more to that, but I don't want to highjack your thread :)

Some say coffee is diuretic and drains your water, so you have to drink 2 extra cups of water for each coffee cup. But lately I hear that's not so. I just ry to drink 6-8 glasses a day, and have my java in the morning!!!

Hi, LSchoone - welcome! A suggestion - since you DH was injured, maybe you two should look into Lean version - more aerobic, less pushups for this round? I am doing it and beleeeeeeeeeeave me, I am working plenty hard  XOX

Same here - but mostly I fell good tired and sleep better, which is a desired outcome. When I don't exercise for a few days I am miserable. I found that drinking anti-oxidant drinks when feeling tired some hours after W/O helps to c"come back on line". I drink Yogy Anti-oxydant drink without cofeine...seems to help but not…

Slim in 6 is not Dancy, if you like kick-boxing and stuff Turbo Jam is better for you. But Debbie really slims you out! I've done her programs 4 times, andit kept working! If I could, I'd do only her, but I maxed out on Debbie for now (mentally). Got to keep it fun, so no program works forever. Thankfully there are many to…

I have access to specific food calculator for Slim in 6. I can give you the total calories while on Slim in 6 if you give me your height/weight/age. This time you build the totall into your goals and don't need to add exercise calories as a separate step. you can e-mail me... Good luck!

Good morning! Wow, it is Monday already! I went for a run! I feel great! I miss running, but I will only run during recovery weeks while doing X. So, let's see.... I like to eat veggies with my protein for example steamed green beans are a great tummy stuffers! a cup of stemed broccoli will hit the spot with lean meat or tofu! make sure you at even intervals too - this way you won't be ravenous at any meal and eat just enough! 5 meals a day is a reasonable schedule.

TeachNR! Don't apologise! We put a lot of effort to carve time for exercise, and I think I would be upset too if others in my family did not do their part! And this is where we vent! Venting is healthy! Enjoy you weekend with girls! You totally deserve it! You need to recharge and come back full of new energy and new…
