You need to start exercising in some way and keep with it every day. It will be hard the first few weeks but after that you will be in a routine and you will start seeing the positive changes in the way you look and feel. The key is to start, and keep with it. You can do it.

It took me a few weeks to start losing weight so it may be the same for you. Don't give up that is the key, keep exercising and logging your food.

I have a sit stand work station at my desk at work. When I want to stand I raise it up and when I am ready to sit I lower it down. I stand about 75% of the day and I have been using this for about a year now. I can't say that it has made a difference in weight loss but it has made a huge difference in my back/neck tension…

I wear gloves and still get callouses. I haven't found anything that makes them go away, they are just part of me now. Over all I think the benefits are worth it though.

Salmon is super easy. Either use a little Italian dressing or some of your favorite seasonings and lemon juice. Cook it on the BBQ, or bake it or broil it. YUM.

My suggestion is to keep at it. Keep logging your food, keep exercising, just do it. Even if you feel like you dont want to do it, do it! You will be glad you did when you start seeing results.

I do strenght training 3 times a week and cardio 4 times a week. During M-F I only work out 30 min but on the weekend I work out at least an hour sometimes more. It has worked out pretty good for me but it has taken time for results.

Yes, swimming is an excellent source of cardio.

When I first started I was worried about sodium as well but once I saw the breakdown I realized it wasnt all that bad. Stay away from processed and fast foods. Those are the killers. I still use the salt shaker on what I fix at home and I rarely go over the daily allowance.
