poor you, I feel for you. Have you looked at the candida diet? It was the only way I could budge this, took 18 months though. Messege me if you want more info without the world knowing about it!!

Use our BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) Calorie Calculator to find out your daily calorie requirements by entering your height, weight, age, gender and activity level. Height Daily Calorie…

p.s, I have been at a plateau in terms of weights and BF% since about October. Not fussed about the weight but want BF to lower. Its about 19% at mo so I don't need to go too much lower but I want to see more definition.

yep! Often I have to tell myself off for reading about fitness on MFP instead of actually getting off the computer to do some!

bump - I'm interested in this too. Well done on coming this far!
-
Thank you, so you think I should go get some lighter ones just in case? I'm sure I'll use them so I guess it won't be a waste of money
-
yeah I think I might get some smaller ones for the really hard stuff cos its a bit unmotivational doing one arm at a time! I suppose it depends what stuff is in level 2 though!

I'm in the same position as you, I don't think I've any more weight to lose but want to get firmer. I am on day 10 of a 30 day shred to see if that makes a difference and am then going to decide what my goals are. Your belly button looks fine! (mine is really frowny lol!)

Yes you are right, a balanced diet is the way to go. As I am veggie I have to think of creative ways to get enough protein (I usually get about 90g a day.) But meat eaters propably have to think about getting enough fibre and vitamins etc from fruit and veg. I guess thats why they promote the 5 a day so much! There is…

Hi, Yes I do agree with what you say, If someone has thought to make a healthy choice about their food, chances are they are less likely to be overweight, to drink too much, smoke etc, ie things that could lead to an earlier death. If you google Johanna Dwyer of Tufts University she has done some studies into it. But I…

It's be proven than vegetarian men live over 7 years longer than meat eating men and vegetarian women over 4 years longer. So I guess it's good for you as long as you you aren't hoping to die early!! Red meat and processed meat has been linked to cancer by Harvard.

is it natural? Do they have to add any rubbish or MSG etc to it? Sounds odd and my initial thought is that I wouldn'd eat it, but I would need more info before I made up my mind. Thanks for posting, that's interesting. Just read yesterday they are making a beef burger in the lab!!! (I'm veggie and won't be trying that as…

I did my first Zumba class last week and added it to the database (taken from zumbacalories.com) It's fun isn't it :-)

I'm veggie too and get about 90g protein a day (meals and then 1 shake a day). Have you tried Quinoa? Its fab for protein, especially for veggies as it has all the amino acids in it. I use it instead of pasta now. Or if I really want pasta I'll have rice pasta as it doesn't make me bloat. You can add me if you like to see…

ps You could do it at the gym if you have a dvd player there, but you do really need to watch it, It only takes 20 minutes so I've been doing it the second I get in from the gym before I have a shower.

I am on day 6 and loving it so far, starting to feel a little less motivated but that will pass. I've also been carrying on with my usual workouts / swimming sessions and am achy so I hope its all working! Gillian is good cos she works you hard and says it like it is!
-
I like Cucumber and a little bit of Cayenne for a kick!! Sounds scary but it works, and isn't chilli supposed to help you lose weight too?
-
bump me too! I started it yesterday :-)
-
omg wow! well done, love your story, well done to your wife too!
-
Thank you :-) I am so excited to see if I get as good results as you! I measured and also took photo's yesterday before I started so will see what happens. You lost lots of inches, well done! Have a good weekend :-) x

I am starting it today!! Very excited to see what happens to my jiggly bits!
-
I can run for a mile or so but then my right knee hurts and I am limping for a few days afterwards, which is so annoying cos I liike to run (used to hate it but was made to do it at boot camp!) i guess I could try an knee support? I am seeing a physio tomorrow so I'll have to remember to ask him about it
-
just ordered 30 day shred, can't wait for it to arrive! Feel much more motivated already, thank you everyone x
-
thanks guys, will look into all of those. Interesting comment about the swimmers, hadn't thought of it like that before
-
thank you, Just looked on Amazon and they are well cheap, about 5 quid which I think is about $8. Yay! There is: 30 day shred, Banish fat, boost metabolism 6 week 6 pack no more trouble zones making the cut ripped in 30 with killer buns and thighs (in a box set) I guess I get the box set as I get two to do then? I am…

haha just tried this and can't believe how hard it is. Even got a bit puffed and I am fit I think! Felt like I had to really hold my core so I didn't fall over, what a great suggestion, thank you :-)
-
wow thanks girls some fab suggestions, loving the standing on one leg thing! I keep seeing people mention the 30 day shred and gillian but I don't think we have that in the UK, but I bet I can google it and get it on amazon, I'm guessing they are dvd's yeah? I feel lots more motivated already :-)

I once read you should clean your teeth after dinner. Because your mouth feels fresh you don't need the sweetness, and its also kinda like saying your mouth is done for the day. I think I should try this cos I have the pudding cravings too - although I've replaced chocolate cravings for anything sweet now, nuts, spoonful…
