I wish I could invent.....
Some days I wish I could see a little counter that is linked to my stomach that tells me how many calories and macros I have eaten and how many I have left. I guess I would have to swallow a gadget to measure this! It would be so much easier than weighing and logging everything! What would you invent and why?

Should we stop calling people 'overweight'?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-18262887 I was interested to read this article on the BBC news website. They suggest we get doctors and other public health professionals to stop using words such as "overweight" and "obese" as they think the terms have a negative impact on body image and self-esteem. On the other hand,…

If so would love to hear what you do. I usually swim at about the same pace each swim, with a mixture of crawl, breaststroke and backstroke. It takes me just under 35 mins to do a mile but I know I could push it more so thought HIIT might be fun. Can anyone provide details of their swims, or recommend a website with some…

Anyone confused by calories burned from swimming?
Hi All, I was wondering if there was any regular swimmers out there who could give your opinion on something for me please? I swim 3 times a week and always do a mile each time at the minimum. To swim a mile front-crawl (freestyle) takes me about 35 minutes or just under. I enter this on MPF as "vigorous effort freestyle"…
