Hi guys,

So I have one week till I have to get in a Bikini and I've woken up today feeling a bit wobbly. Does anyone think it'll be possibly to tone up a bit in a week? I am a 5'6 female weighing 124 pounds. I do have good muscle definition in my arms but my tummy and legs wouldn't hurt from a bit of attention I think (though they are by no means bad and I'm not going to feel self conscious about them)

I have 20% body fat and a UK size 8 to 10 so I was wondering if I did lots of toning this week on top of my usual 3 swimming sessions (a mile each time at a fast pace) and my belly dance class if I could make a difference in a week? I have a leg magic machine which should help.

Does anyone think it's worth going for it or have I left it a little late?!!! Like I said I'm not going to be too worried if I can't achieve anything but it would be nice. What do people think?

Thanks in advance for your opinions and any advice :-)

If you do swimming and belly dancing each week you could try addressing how you feel about yourself instead because you sound like you are doing just great as it is

You should definitely be doing some toning, because even if it doesn't show immediate results, you will be ready for next time.

Thank you :flowerforyou: I'm probably just having one of those wobbly days! Especially as it's Monday and I had chips at the weekend

It can't hurt, but you'll probably see more of an immediate effect from watching your diet very closely over the next week. Keeping your sodium low, avoiding alcohol and carbonation, getting enough fiber and water, and fewer refined carbs will help reduce tummy bloat more than a bunch of situps will.

Thanks for the advice:smile: Luckily I don't drink alcohol or fizzy drinks so that shouldn't be too hard. Think I'm gunna make a big effort, starting as soon as I can drag myself away from the forum; it's very addictive lol! x
