Hi All,
I've been eyeing up a website offereing Metabolic Testing / heart rate zone testing etc for some months now and I'm curious if anyone has had anything like this done and if it's worth spending out for? Please see the link below.
www.provo2.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=35&product_id=74
Although I have worked out my BMR /TDEE etc I would love to know for sure.
I used to eat only around 1000 cals a day without eating back exercise cals (going back 10 years before I realised this was stupid) and I seem to put on weight easily now. Wonder if I've screwed my metabolism? Or would it have sorted itself out by now? Would a test like this give me correct answers to these questions?
I now eat at 20% under TDEE and want to lose the 8 pounds or so I put on over the winter when I wasn't logging. When I've lost weight before I wasn't logging so no idea what I actually lose at.
Any advice most welcome. Would love to hear from anyone whose had this done. It's a lot of money so not something I would pay for without knowing if it's accurate or just a gimmick.
Thanks in advance
