1/2 a Bloomin Onion with dipping sauce and THEN a burger & fries afterward! 1105 calories for 1/2 Bloomin Onion. 1052 calories for the burger. 420 calories for the fries. 2577 calories for ONE MEAL! I don't usually eat that much in a day anymore!

Halloween is/was my biggest temptation since I have twins and they come home with more candy than they'll ever know what to do with. Since I've figured out how to make Chocolate Peanut Butter cups without sugar that even my niece and nephew loves, I can avoid that temptation and just throw any leftover candy out.…

There are two types of coconut oil - one is refined and there isn't really a coconut taste at all. The other is pure, and it's exactly what it says, there is a strong coconut taste to it.

I'm a low-carber & I've been doing IF for a few weeks now, if anything, it's kept my hunger under control. Different strokes for different folks and all, but it's been working out for me. I'm a fairly active female too, started C25K this week after biking on average 20-30 miles everyday to every other day wasn't pushing my…

Another great one -- Good Omens. Wish they'd make that one into a movie.

To my basement for weights. As far as 50+ miles when I bike. Walk/run about 2 miles. If I'm going to religiously use equipment, I'm going to own it. Looking around on Craigslist for used weight benches and weights to add to my gear.

My birthday is in less than 2 weeks. I asked my husband for a Bluetooth enabled stereo for my car & new tubes for my bike. About to ask him for a FitBit Ultra to round things out. If time & money were no object at all -- I'd want a week-long trip to Australia or Hawaii!!!

I drink the unsweetened original kind, less calories & carbs than regular milk. Also, it froths up pretty nicely for lattes and cappuccinos!

I'm on a low-carb diet. I've had NO problems with exercising. Biked over 45 miles just yesterday, did some hiking/jogging/walking today, and since 9/1/2012 I've been able to bike 331.14 miles. Keep in mind it's not for everyone, some people just do not do very well on it. It's been working pretty good for me.

Of course people will lose weight on it. All that money from their wallets gone, they'd have to!

Bump. I know what I'm having for lunch today!

Mine is supportive, he helped me with buying my new bike, watches our twin boys while I bike on the weekends, occasionally asks me about my protein intake to see if I'm eating too little or too much, when he makes dinner he weighs things out for me so I can log it correctly, so all in all - I can't complain too much.

Soaking in a warm Epsom salt bath has helped me before.

I always wear one. Even though I ride on a trail, there's always rabbits, chipmunks, and other critters suddenly darting out in front of me. There's also a fair amount of traffic where I bike and plenty of drivers that don't pay attention. Even if you have the right of way, doesn't mean you'd make it out alive if you get…

I dropped 30+ pounds on my own without the help of the doctor. Come annual physical time the doctor then accused me of being anorexic. I promptly found a new doctor.

Tequila is my go-to liquor. Carry around a packet of True Lime (found at Walmart) and a packet of Crystal Light Lemonade To-Go, add either water or preferably diet Lemon-Lime soda, and you got yourself a 0 carb margarita.

Bump - going to make this today!

I read that it wasn't, however, most of the tests were done on lab rats & post-menopause women with little data on females that are younger. So, I decided to try it and be my own experiment to see if it'd work for me. 15 pounds down since Monday (most of it water weight) and I bicycle 27.75 miles every morning when the…

I'm on day 3 of a 16/8 split, so far, so good. My only problem was the first day - normally I had started my day off with a latte before a 27.75 mile bike ride at 5 AM. By 9:30 AM I was falling asleep. So much for the article that said it's not for women (sleepless? Hardly. I fell asleep even earlier despite my morning…
