  • Personally I just stay to myself and concentrate on my own workouts...everyone's fighting their own battles.
  • If I ever need direction on how to perfect form or just general knowledge; I seem to be able to find it on bodybuilding.com or youtube. I wouldn't let other people bother you tho! Just put in your headphones and go to work!!! You'll remember a lot of your old tricks...as you get started.
  • You have to fall in love with the process... And ultimately...you have to want it for yourself. Find workouts that you love to do. I recently have taken up biking and rowing. Building a strong core with all this rowing. And on the weekends I walk the city bridges in my area and hike mountains. Unless you are really just…

  • My friend just took this "21 day challenge"... isn't it Advocare? .... hmmm... she initially lost weight; but she put it back on. 1-2lbs a week is really pushing it...eating clean and working out everyday. Too many people want to sprint to the finish line when in reality it's a marathon...and a lifestyle change. Good luck…

(I feel it's probably just normal in life) So I make a list of 2 things I want to change…
  • I am so glad there are other people out there that feel like I do. I've always wanted to be a runner. I've started the C25k program and it has helped, A LOT! • I'm almost 5'3"... and last year at this time I was 155lbs and I was pretty much all muscle. I probably could of cut and lost another 15lbs of fat...but I looked good and healthy. I think you just need to feel good about whatever goal you have. I don't honestly expect to ever get down to 125lbs... I'm getting closer to 40…

  • I know exactly how you feel; I almost started crying at the gym this morning...to be so close to your goal and have it all fall apart. Ugh! Just makes you want to work harder...Just keep on track and you'll be back in no time. It is crushing; but setbacks do happen to everyone!!!
  • I absolutely love working out!!! I wake up during the week at 4:30am...just to make sure that I can get in a full hour and half at the gym! It's my "me" time... I am looking for some accountability buddies to carry me through the end of the year and stay motivated to log everything everyday....regardless of what I do ....just to see…
