Hello! I'm gearing up for October. This week doesn't look good on paper but, every once and awhile I need to completely change things up so my body decides that it's ok to drop the weight. I'm down a pound so far this week. I'll look better next week. I had a couple thoughts for October. You guys can tell me if they suck…

Hi Ladies! I'll admit I've been back and forth on going on next month. The challenges are getting boring to me BUT!!! I love our team! I decided to stay on in October. I really like the cardio parts of the challenge and my doctor asked me to focus more on that than strength right now. We have good accountability and that…

Luckily I only have an issue about 2 days a month. Of course, those 2 days land on the week that extra crunches are our challenge :noway: I have been doing whacky jacks (look them up on youtube) instead of jumping jacks because my foot is whacked out. I'm soooo sore from doing those on my obliques. I like them much better…

So, does anyone else get ovarian cysts? I get one every month (working with the doc on this one) and it makes crunches an issue. Any thoughts?

You're not the only one. Last week was really rough and I gained 2 pounds. This week I'm making myself do ALL the challenges and I have a goal to walk or elliptical 10 miles this week. I hope it works. We can do this!

It's Longhorn Steakhouse. They closed the ones by me.

I am determined to pass the 15 pound lost mark this week. I really want to lose 20 more pounds by my birthday (11/17). I'd be in ONEDERLAND then.

Question about the extra miles. Basically anything over 4.5 is extra right? I'm already at 10 something miles this week and I'm going on a 3+ mile walk tomorrow with my aunt.

Well, I did it! 65 minutes on the elliptical today! Plus I have a 2 1/2 hour orchestra rehearsal tonight. Calories away!

I've had 1 C-section and 1 VBAC and I have the "pooch." I don't ever envision myself in a bikini as the stretch marks the babes left are plentiful. My husband tells me he likes a little "pooch." We'll see what happens when I get closer to my goal weight but I think it will just have to stay. I have read that when some…

I'm going to throw down a challenge for today but, I don't know who specifically know who to challenge. Anyone can accept. I'm looking for someone who is willing to do 60 minutes of cardio today. It's a challenge for myself too. Good luck to all today!
-
I'll try that too. I did all the other challenges today. The only one that gave me issues were the Split Squats. I did get 45 minutes on the elliptical today. Your foot stays stationary on that so, no issues there.

Ooooo I like those Wacky Jacks! I've been wondering what to do for my side abs without doing bicycle crunches. Now those are the devil. :) I might just replace all my JJ's with those. JJ are from the devil too.

Hello Ladies!!! I was wondering if you guys could come up with a good alternative to Jumping Jacks. I'm positive that I have tendonitis going on in my left foot. All of other challenges I think will be ok but JJ's. I don't think jumping on it is a good idea. What do you think?

Rough weekend this weekend so, I threw calories counting and working out out the window. I'll be back to it on Monday. My son got sick and it just threw things out of whack for me. He's much better now and we have a family picnic to enjoy today. Beautiful weather here in Chicagoland, should make for a great day!

One of my family's favorite recipes has kale in it. I cut Jennie-O Sweet Italian Sausage out of their casings and brown them in a skillet. I chop up 4 cups of kale and throw it in with the sausage when it is cook. Then I add 1 cup of low sodium chicken broth and cover my skillet. I let that sit for 10 minutes or so or…

I apologize. I just cannot finish my crunches and jacks. I had a flare up of some inside parts and jumping and crunching HURTS. I was able to knock out 200 of each yesterday leaving 300 left. :( I did finish my 5 extra miles. And my 5K+ was AWESOME yesterday (didn't have time in the schedule for today, so I did it…

I found out that I literally can't do the globe jumps. I get super dizzy to the point that I can't stand up straight. I think its the changing location while going up and down. This all leads me to believe that I too might have the inner ear problems my Mom has. Ahhh genetics, nothing like them. :)

We are starting next Monday, right?

I'm excited! I love the accountability of the challenges and I won't let my team down! I'm Libby and I'm 32. I'm married with two kiddos, 10 and 11. I'm from Chicago, IL and live near the Wisconsin border now. I'm a violinist and I play with the Lake Geneva Symphony Orchestra. I love it. There is nothing like letting go of…

I have tendonitis in my right shoulder and I've been trying to figure out how to prevent another flare up. I'm a violinist and I need my shoulders in good working order. I've been working on strengthening the muscles around the tendons. I don't know what you would need to do in your foot but there must be some strength…

I have a state park 5 minutes from my house, so on nice days, I walk the walking trails there. It's so quiet and peaceful that I don't notice that I'm burning calories. In the winter or on rainy days, I love the elliptical. I hate running so I feel like I've accomplished more when I do a workout on that.

I can't get the September banner to work in my signature. What am I missing?

I'm ok with filling out a google doc. Really whatever is easiest for you is fine with me.

Hi everyone! I'm joining the Warrior Princesses and I'm super excited about it! Thanks for including me in this challenge!

I was nervous the first time I stepped foot into my gym. I think we all are. But, everyone that goes is there to better themselves in some form or fashion. There are a lot more "regular" people than you might think. My gym does have the body builders but they are actually pretty nice people. I say go for it, it is a…

I love that show! I haven't made up my mind who I like better but they are both nice to look at.

I stayed the same this week too. TOM hit really hard last week so, I'm hoping that's my root cause for not losing. Here's my additions. Well, that's a bummer. Oh well, maybe everyone is afraid to see how AWESOME our team is.

Did we ever find out what the ranking for last week were? Just curious. :)
