Incredible!! You look awesome!

Here's my *during*... (I am 5'8" if you wanna know.)

I'm just here to dream. I WISH I had this problem. Lol To be helpful...I do notice that my fat free feta kills my sodium limit every time I throw some on my salads. Try that! Low cal....and tons of flavor.

Yep...you can eat anything in your calorie limit and lose. And you seriously could gain on fruits and veggies if you could fit 3000 calories of it in your stomach each day. I started out on 1300 calories of crap food and lost weight but was hungry all the time cuz even a bag of Doritos is over my calories but not much…

I weigh daily too...like the others who mentioned staying accountable keeps them on track that day...that's me too. I see patterns and a slight gain doesn't affect my mentally. I work hard anyway. As for measurements instead...that would kill me...my waist measurement is so inaccurate because of the flabby skin moving…

Exercise more. You can eat an extra 1000 calories of you burn it off. The funny thing is on the days I burn 500 or more...I'm not even hungry. And it might help to work on a weekly deficit instead. Exercise off 500 today to use tomorrow for dinner out...etc.

Ok I am with the *don't* people...however... Try making her dinner. Your way...with her in mind (no mushrooms if she hates them, for instance). And ask for her support...like going with you on a walk because you would rather not go alone. Don't try to make her get healthy, ask for her help so you can get in better shape -…

Ok I am only 5'8.5" (hubby is 5'9" and I GOTTA be shorter...LOL) but I just wanna say DONT GET DISCOURAGED! It does take longer to notice the weight and lose sizes at first, but then it seems to speed up faster than shorter people....It took a good 30+ pounds to lose before anyone noticed...and I lost a size. But then…

Rough day...rough week...so what? The good days all count toward your goal, the bad days don't set you back, they just don't count! :) I guarantee your *bad* days are still better than before you started MFP! I have been on MFP 305 days...lots of them were rough...but still I am so much better off than a year ago! :)

Thank you for this! I was trying to figure this out as well...Encouraging as well as helpful! :) (the post right before this....thought I quoted...oops!)

I weigh myself every time I pass the scale. Sometimes 5 times a day. Never stresses me out. I know my patterns. But it took a couple months to totally figure it out. I love numbers and track my morning weight vs calories in and out...this keeps me on track. It's all about what you can and can't deal with. This works for…

You look beautiful...you better feel it! :) I started at 268 and am the same height and I am not quite under 200 yet...I am so happy for you and your family that you decided to do this 10 years before I did!! You deserve to be proud!

Thanks so much everyone!!

Awww you guys just made my day...all the comments are so nice! You gave me the boost to go get on my bike when I finish my lunch. :) And to the question about a tummy tuck...i seriously hate my skin...underarms are so bad too....but I read that skin can take up to two years to regain some shape...so I will be patient and…

Honestly....find a boyfriend who never says you need to lose weight. 145 is very healthy for a 5'8 woman...and you looked so much cuter in the first pic. :)

My bodybugg is right on mfp estimates for most things I do...except biking...it's higher than mfp. I think it all depends on Individual effort.
-
I rarely feel like eating back my exercise calories, but the next day I may go over on calories...so it kinda evens out for me. Calories don't care what day they go into your body...I go more off my weekly total than the daily total.
-
Awesome job! You look great!

I use ground turkey in place of beef all the time...this is my family's favorite soup...mine too cuz it's low cal and soooo easy... 20 oz ground turkey browned 2 bags frozen mixed veggies (corn, carrots, beans, peas) 1 chopped onion 2 pounds cubed unpeeled red potatoes 1 lg jug low sodium V8 juice 1 small container (maybe…

It's sooo different for everyone! I see a lot of pics too and thought I might be lucky and followed all the suggestions...but I have lost over 60 pounds over 8 months...and have about 40 left to go and I have significant folds of skin on my stomach that are not going away. Depressing, but still, I prefer deflated skin over…

I've been using endomondo for a while now and just came on here looking for an answer to my question...if endomondo is more accurate than MFP? Endomondo tracks elevation, which can make a huge difference in burn.. Anyway when I biked today in hilly terrain, endomondo said I burned 20% more calories than MfP. Walking is…

Although I am not a success story *yet*...I am sharing these pics because I was so inspired by everyone else who shared *during* photos. :) I started at 268 and in the right pic, I was down to 211. I am 5'9. My original goal was just to be a solid size 14...and I thought that would be at 175. But now I am thinking I wanna…

I was 20 (married for 2 years already)...21 and 26 for my three. When I was in my 20's I wished I had waited longer, but only for financial reasons...it was a really tight budget for a while there with deciding to be a stay at home mom. However now...I am 37...still a stay at home mom but with a lot more things going…

I appreciate the responses here that say there is hope! I was super worried about this as at one time I was 323 pounds. I have a lot of extra skin and the more I lose, the more wrinkly it gets. But I have noticed that in the past few months, the big tummy flap is retracting. My belly button is now up above my waistband…

Awesome!! I know the feeling...I just returned a skirt there that was too big in the hips and they didn't have a smaller size. I seriously had tears when I left cuz I knew I was never going back. Lol
-
I use a cake plate (tiny paper plate if available)...and take a tiny bit of everything I love. I can't say no, but I can say LESS PLEASE. :)
-
That's awesome! I hope to someday finish a 5k and consider going 10!!
-
I love you for saying that! Lol

He is healthier with you than without you. You are doing what you can...it's up to him to do the rest. You have to ignore it for your relationship. One healthier person is better than zero. Be proud of yourself....eventually he may come around. :)

Nothing tastes as good as thin feels.
