Every morning and every night. I always record a loss...no matter what day it is. I am conscious of what I eat and how much I exercise because of how often I weigh myself. I also know that a lower number before bed means drink more water. It keeps me on track. If it discourages you...don't do it. :)

I hated the armband tan lines... I put my iPhone in an old sock, face out in my sports bra. This stops the sweat issue and I really don't notice it...but I still have layers of chub for it to hide in. Lol

This has been happening to me too...dr said blood pressure is a lot lower...now healthy...but still the change can cause this feeling. Also my blood sugar is lower...again healthy, but not what my body has been used to. As long as you can get over it ok by just slowing down and taking a break...it is supposed to go away in…

I love these...peeing turtle is my fav so far! Lol...what a fun thread! So my story has to be when I first downloaded Endomondo on my phone...(fitness tracker...speed n distance n all that)...and it works off GPS...so I go outside and sit on the deck checking it out. I get a little hot so I decide it would be a good day to…

Same here! People tell me how good I look and I am never accepting it with grace...I say Hi...I still gotta lose 40 pounds?!? I look in the mirror and see fat rolls...I go straight for the plus sizes in stores...and they haven't fit in months. I so appreciate all the similar responses so I know I'm not mental...or we are…

I gotta respond...my weight loss goal is similar to the OP...I think you want to lose 90 pounds right? I started walking in October of last year...and lost about 25 pounds...I was around 235 I think when I first attempted the Couch to 5K program. I ran the first minute...but just about died the second minute and I was…

That's huge! You get to feel so much more feminine!! I know how big of a deal it is too...i got there about a month ago! Yay for you!

I have to tell you what my doctor told me when I was asking these skin questions about 10 pounds into my 93 pound trek... "Yep, you will have loose skin, nope it never all goes away. Lose the weight anyway." That being said...exercise and water helps. And he was right. Lol....but it's way easier to carry around a garbage…

If your calories are set at 1750... Don't eat back exercise calories. Otherwise set your calories lower and eat them back. The deficit of under 300 per day would work out to about 3 pounds a month. Which honestly could take a month to show on the scale depending on water, etc. Hope this helps! Don't give up...you got…

+56=1834 I think...multiple posts at the same time up there...lol

I did week 1 day 1 today...and I cried when I got done. LOL But I was so happy that I did everything the lady said...(I used the iPhone app and she tells you when to run/walk)...this is a huge accomplishment for me because I tried to start it back in December and literally could not start running the 2nd 60 second time. I…

I also use C25K on my iPhone...yep it's FREE. I love it...like a personal coach lady who I don't have any guilt if I hate. :)

I think the fact that we are here IS our failure story....we don't wanna re-hash that...we wanna move forward with success stories! :) We do good when we decide that failure is not an option. If I don't meet a goal, I change it. I refuse to fail.

Thank you!

Good job!! I love your dress!! You look great!

Great poll...I am really encouraged by all the responses! I have done both the straight MFP route....1200 calories, basic MFP settings for macros but only watched calories for the first 4 months. Lost 40 pounds Then plateaued, and tried the whole BMR TDEE thing for about 6 weeks with little luck, lost maybe 2 pounds. Went…

Glad to help! I am determined to eat *mostly* clean now...anything is an improvement!

I had gastric bypass 9 years ago...out-ate it. Surgery can make you eat less for a time, but it will not change what you eat, what you like, why you eat or your exercise (or lack of) habits. I had no complications with the laparoscopic bypass, lost 110 pounds, gained 55 back. Then I realized it was time to fix me, not my…

Ok I am going to add my own 'scientific' response....LOG IT. As others have said...log whatever time you spend actually walking...which probably will be a good 2 hours. I say this because I have a Bodybugg and after wearing it 24/7 for about a month, I was surprised to find that I actually burned MORE calories in a day…

I was the same...hated plain water...so I started buying the sobe life waters...and over about three months I gradually weakened them until I was drinking about 1/8 of the sobe to 7/8 regular water. I have my last one in the fridge now...with a plain glass of water on the table...and I DID get used to it! I tend to crave…

Amazing!! Thanks for the motivation I needed today! You look beautiful!

You can do it! And I agree, I was appalled at how many calories were in my favorite foods! I had never eaten any big amount of anything, but when I started counting calories I realized why I was fat on a bird sized diet! The greatest motivation I get is when the scale moves...when it doesn't, I need people! You will be…

Thanks everyone! I am feeling good about my bike now...you gave me the motivation to go get on it! Hoping this is the change that will get the scale moving again!

I actually eat about every hour. My diary is just divided into 4 sections of the day...but I eat really small meals or pieces of the meals throughout the day. And I'm never hungry...which was a problem when I was trying to eat clean. I did really good the months that I was on 1200 calories but now at 1600 I have room for…

I did a bunch of research on a good entry level bike...and decided on the Schwinn Trailway. It has some higher end components like a shimano deurralier (however you technically spell it) and its a 28" hybrid. I am 5'9" and all the other cheaper bikes seemed small. I am also at 215 pounds and the seat was ok...though you…

So...I motivated myself...bought a bike last night!

Me too! I have been arguing with the last pound for a week now...so the 15 to go before 200 is seeming farther away than before! I'm a stay at home mom to 3 kids, 17, 15 and 11...no gym either but I have miles of wisconsin farm roads and a treadmill to keep me occupied! I really want to get to 190 before my husband and I…

You might not need to up calories as much as you think....I noticed a couple days you have 'celery sticks with 2 Tbsps peanut butter' logged as only 25 calories...however an average Tbsp of peanut butter is about 100 calories each....so you would have another 200 calories on those days. Also are you really eating burgers…

Nuts and dried fruit pack a lot of healthy calories in a small amount of food. Oh and using olive oil for cooking your veggies or flavored olive oils in homemade salad dressings helps too.
