Yup! I'm from the Detroit area. I have a hard time keeping motivated in the winter too. I bought an elliptical machine a couple of winters ago and that has helped a *little* bit.

Wendys has good chili and sweet potatoes. :) I also eat a lot of "side salads" from any fast food restaurant with light or fat free dressing. :)

Borrowed it from a friend & LOVED IT! I've already ordered books 2 & 3... waiting for them to arrive. Can't wait!

When I was on Weight Watchers I did have one day each week that I ate what I wanted... like if I craved something during the week I'd have it on Friday (or whatever the day was). I was quite successful doing that (lost about 40 lbs) and I found that it kept me from completely falling off track. Since I started counting…

Swimming is a good one!

I recently found johnsonville chicken sausage with cheddar cheese in them, delicious! Also, Freschetta makes a couple of "healthy" pizzas... thin crust with pepperoni, peppers and mushrooms and I know there is one with spinach on it too, they're kinda expensive though. I've recently started making a lot of chicken breast…

1 lb which isn't bad considering how gross I feel today. I swear, it's like I have a food hangover!

When I eat it in moderation, no. When I over indulge, yes. I think you did absolutely fine by eating 1. I've found that for myself I can't completely cut something out, even if I know it isn't good for me because I'm in this for the rest of my life and I know I won't go the rest of my life without a Reese Cup. :) Good job…

AMAZING! Loved every second of it!

I really struggled and *sadly* never finished it. I was trying to do it with a friend and she struggled worse than I did so eventually we quit. Now that I think back on it, it did get easier for me... I was just at a bad point with eating & exercising. I've been thinking about trying again. Good for you and most definitely…

I'm right there with you. Will be happy at the end of the day when I can go back to bed. :)

I eat lean beef, turkey, lean pork, and even turkey sausages! We just discovered the Johnsonville makes Turkey sausage with cheddar! SO delicious and low in calories! They are high in sodium though so you have to plan accordingly. I know that many people probably won't agree but for me, I think it's important to eat what…

Love these cupcakes! They're delicious. I always buy some fat free cool whip to put on top as frosting too. :)

Jelly beans are super addictive. :) I eat lots of things (generally in small portions) that are probably bad for me but if I completely gave them up, I'd probably fall off the wagon. I'd be happy to encourage you though!

Freschetta also makes a thin crust pizza to die for. SO delicious! Give it a try. :)

Congrats!!! Rock it!

I drink a lot of carbonated and flavored water. :)

Wow! You look great! You look a lot younger without the weight. :)

First, I know it's hard but you should stop berating yourself over it. You are doing the right thing by admitting to yourself that you're out of control. You asked why you're so out of control right now? Once you've calmed down, take a look at your life. Are things more stressful now than they were before (most likely…

If there is a microwave at your work, you should try the Campbells soup at hand. Tasty, low cal, and quick! Plus, the soup combined with a granola bar and fruit actually fills me up! :)
