You reallly need to want it more than you want to stay in bed! Try putting the alarm clock across the room so you have to get out of bed to turn it off. If you can get a few good days in, it will get easier, and become a habit,. I go almost every morning before work, and have done so for years. There are mornings when I…

Its NOTgoing to be the way you imagine it at all. I go to an LAFitness, and yes, I have seen the 'meatheads' and the super fit girls in skimpier clothes, but there's a lot more 'normal' (and overweight) people who are there to lose, improve problem areas and learn new things. If possible, try going in the morning....that's…

ummmm....WOW - I just figured he's learn some life lessons after a being dumped by some girl and taking solice in a lot of ice cream, but you took it to a whole new level....
-
You meant his parent's house, right?
-
  My point exactly....its almost sweet to see someone so niave, that he's figured out the answers to life. Too bad, he'll never have the pleasure of being a pre-menapausal woman :ohwell:

 This is so perfect for Thowback Thursday... I remember being 18 and knowing everything too...thanks for the laughs

If it was so easy for everyone, wouldn't everyone be thin?
-
First off, there's nothing wrong with training on your own....and second:
-
Most women do not wear the right size bra....go to a store and ask for a proper fitting.
-
No. "everything in moderation" is wonderful in theory, but for me, it does not work. I have to cut the "bad" stuff from my diet, because there are some things that just trigger me to overeat.
-
THIS!! I had the cough and chronic bronchitis, and decided I was DONE (that was two years ago January). I used the patch, and it worked pretty well. Breaking the physical addiction isn't that hard...its the mental side that you have to work on!
-
Good running shoes and a good bike were probably my best investments (my gym membership is too cheap to consider it a big purchase, but I wouldn't give it up!).

Weight loss can be done without exercise...its almost all about what you eat. Calories burned are just more you get to eat. That being said....ALWAYS chose the thing you enjoy doing more, because you aren't going to keep up with something you don't like
-
Exactly!!
-
I don't think much of your auto is made there anymore either (too expensive!)
-
it makes me a really good dancer, and then I also earn more exercise calories
-
ahhh...remember when he looked like this and pretty much owned the music world? Who knew what the future would bring....
-
NO heavy perfume!!

...back when they still played music videos

I WISH I could do that, but I between the distance and weather (30 miles that includes rural roads and highway and live in Michigan), its not really an option for me. I would think I'd commute if it was 10 to 15 miles each way

Not caring when you're 15 lbs overweight at 25 years old is what I'd consider a slippery slope....next thing, you're 25 or maybe 40 lbs overweight, and 35 years old, and it seems to just get harder and harder to lose for women as we age. If I could go back and tell my 25 year old self something right now...it would be to…

WOW....good for you...Congratulations! I'm sure most people are just here for fitness/weight loss support, but you just never know where you'll meet someone  (I met mine in a tire store waiting room :ohwell:).

Not for me....and probably not the kind of pizza I'd want to eat....
-
Your'e right, but most of the time bad choices = bad consequences......so my point was that (personally), I do consider some foods "good" or "bad" for various reasons.
-
Absolutely...food is very emotional for many people... My point is this....if eating something is only ok in small amounts, then I would label it as bad if its something that triggers me to eat large amounts (for example..not everyone can eat just one little slice of pizza, or 10 potato chips, then walk away satisfied).…
-
I totally agree with this, but if everyone could handle moderation of sugar or fatty foods, would anyone be overweight? So, based on that, I personally do believe I can label some foods as "good" or "bad" (for me, and for others), because most people have a trigger food that they cannot just have a small amount of without…
-
Once you cut it out for a while, yes....you crave it less. I've also noticed that 'bad' foods like pizza and anything deep fried, does NOT taste anywhere near as good as I used to think it did!

I'm not sure its as much of a shoe problem as it is an elliptical problem. This happens to me all the time, and think it does for a lot of people. I've noticed that shifting my foot position from time to time, so my weight isn't constantly pressing down on the same part of my foot, helps a lot!
