  • Did 30 minutes on my nordic track ski machine and burnt 307 calories, might do a bit of walking to the shops and back with my friends later but i'm pretty much done for the day now.
  • I'm hopefully getting my first tattoo in 2012 I want loads. I'm dead picky with artists though, most of the ones I like are either abroad (Peter Aurisch, Thomas Hooper,Eckel,Uncle Allan) or all the way in London and have stupidly long waiting lists to boot (Xam, Antony Flemming, Tutti Serra) ahh I'm hopefully gonna save up…
  • I'm currently reading Looking For Alaska by John Green and I got a Harry Potter book set for Christmas so atm i'm a 1/4 through the Philosophers/Sorcerers Stone too
  • My dad has an old Nordic Ski Machine and i use it from time to time, it burns a **** load of calories. I'm 5'4 and weigh around 137lbs (trying to lose about 20 more and tone up a bit) and doing 30 minutes on it according to my hrm i burnt 307 calories.

  • I'd love to join this, nervous about weighing in on the 1st Jan but I will do.
  • Resting -80-90 (varies depending on what time I take it, how I'm feeling etc...I once had a resting heart rate of 105 in the doctors ahh) Moderate- 150-170 Max - 200 Difference of up to - 120
  • I'm up for it I'm 5'3.5 and currently 137lb, I want to get down to somewhere in the range of 110-117lbs.
  • That's a lovely goal :D i'm not married myself but to be able to wear something that has that much sentimental value is going to be an epic achievement. You can do it!
  • I got a polar ft4 :D its not the most attractive of things but I don't really care because now i'll know exactly (or at least much much more closely if that makes sense) how many calories i'm actually burning.
  • One of my new years resolutions is going to be to try and eat a more vegan diet. I might just follow the Jenna Marbles approach (she's a popular youtuber, really funny and has the most kick *kitten* body) and keep to a vegan diet 6/7 days a week.
  • ^ that's the best way to have em ;) I make mine with a cafetiere/french press and I'll have it black with either one sugar or one sweetner tablet. I'm much more of a tea lover though.
  • You look fantastic, well done :D
  • You look stunning congratulations on your weight loss :D you're pictures are really motivating me to do more.
  • When I realised my "fat"/baggy jeans were getting a bit tight on me.
  • Wish I'd seen this group at the start of the month obviously we're nearly half way through so I'm not going to be able to commit to do 1000 minutes but since I calculated 31 days to be about 32 minutes a day and there's 18 days left (including today so 18 x 32) i'm going to aim to do 576 minutes of exercise. Hopefully…
  • At the moment i'm just using workout dvd's so it varies from anywhere between 25-60 minutes sometimes on the shorter workouts i'll add an extra ten minutes of ab/leg work but that's about it.
  • I don't drink it that often, I mean sometimes i'll go through stages where I live off pepsi max (not literally that would be kind of unhealthy, you get the idea though) but that hasn't happened for a while. At the moment my liquid intake consists of mainly water and various tea's. Sometimes i'll have a coffee to wake me up…
  • I make my coffee in a cafetiere (french press) and then use a sweetener tablet which is about 0.2 calories per tablet. So all in all my coffee is never going to more than 5 calories. I love tea so much more though, properly going through strawberry and mango fruit tea by the bucket load atm.
  • There's a woman I often see rollerblading up and down the Costal Road in Southport where I live and she has the most fantastic legs ever. Everytime I'm in the car and I see her I'm like damn I wish my legs where as toned and slender and lovely as hers. So even though I don't rollerblade myself (I want to get some skates…
  • I don't log moshpitting as anything yes you do sweat at lot in a moshpit but that might be to do with the fact that you're crammed into a space with between 200-10,000 other people and lots of people jumping around or even stood together creates a lot of heat and heat=warmth=sweaty-ness. I need to get to a gig soonish.
  • I think if its not part of your normal daily routine then count it as exercise. Or if you're doing that instead of taking the easier option for example I still count walking to and from work exercise its about 1 and a half miles each way and i could just as easily get the bus.
  • It's got nothing to do with the membership price, i only pay like £20 a month anyway which is like roughly $31.25 a month. I haven't been in over a month and a half, i'm just throwing money down the drain being at the gym. I was planning on doing a lot of exercises using my own body weight (kind of like what they do on…
  • That sounds good, I have a sort of bike (its someone else's but she never uses it) at the moment its at my caravan in the lake district and i'm hoping that my mum's friend will let me use it but I did want an exercise bike too because I could exercise indoors when the weather goes ****ty. I didn't know you could get things…
  • Thankyou to everyone who's answered my question properly and not just been like go the gym. I could probably increase it to around £200 but I'd just have to buy the equipment a bit later than planned, i'm not looking for a top of the range gym equipment just something I can use to get a good workout. I'll probably be using…
  • I'm planning on starting it on Monday, i've started it so many times and I am determined to finish it this time. I'd love to join this group though :) i'll probably be on the same day as you all by some point as i don't think I can go 30 days straight without at least one day of rest.
  • What an amazing loss, inches and weight :D you should be really proud of yourself because you've done brilliantly.
  • That is brilliant, well done :D
  • It really doesn't keep me social, it makes me withdrawn and after a gym session i just want to run away and hide forever which may be hard for some people to understand. I get really really anxious,to the point where I sometimes want to just run out of the gym all the way home and hide under my duvet and cry kind of…
