When I started my journey I hired a coach. So that way any questions I had about the weights they could answer, show me good form right off the bat and introduce me into an unknown world. Hire them for a couple sessions and then go from there! Doesn't hurt for sure! I know I learned a lot!

When I first started my weight loss journeys I got a trainer to show me around the gym and what exercises to do. I am a monkey see monkey do learner. From there I had a better idea of what type of strength training I wanted to do and explore next. I have a lot of weights at home now haha. Maybe that's a place to start?

SheilaCali- I have bad knees too. It comes and goes but I usually try and do a low impact exercise when those days occur which I find helps. I also have a bad shoulder. Depends on the day. I switch every other day between cardio and weights as I squeeze it all in during my lunch hour. If it's a weight day I do a 10 mins cardio warm up and then 30 mins weights. One weight day will be arms, the next legs. On cardio days it's 25-30 mins either jogging, elliptical, bike and I add in 10 mins…
