Stop trying to loose weight and just focus on being healthy. Don't weigh yourself every day, just once a week. Your body hit a set point and needs time to settle in. It thinks there is a famine in the land and is trying to hold on to that fat to protect you. just relax and keep exercising and eating HEALTHY.

See this is what I am battling against... DON'T "diet." When we hear the word "diet" we think of a temporary solution to over eating. We need to think GOOD HEALTH, which is a lifestyle, not a diet. Fad diets do NOT make good lifestyle choices.

I lost 35lbs on Atkins a few years ago. Last year I got lax and started putting them back almost 20 of them in fact. I tried to do the low carb again but could not get motivated for it. What keeps me motivated is thinking about my health. I want to LIVE not just be alive. I want to have fun, go on adventures and not be worn out after an hour of mild activity. Good Health is what motivates me.... AND having people tell me I look good is kinda nice too...

So true.. The one that really bugs me is the "Servings Per Container". An obviously single serving container can be labled as 2 or 3+ servings! So if you are not alert, you will be eating twice the calories you think you are. The WORST offender is Pam Cooking Spray... Tell me ... ANYONE ... how in the heck do you pull off…

Always keep at least ONE pair of big pants around. Then when you feel that way put them on and watch them drop to the floor.... after laughing you will feel better about yourself. Congratulations on such GREAT success you have had!

Smart. I believe that total deprivation leads to failure. EAT that chocolate cake... but just a bite or two...

Remember its NOT your fault... its the economy. You are not alone. Prayer and exercise... great advice! After that, find people you know or maybe connected to, that are hiring managers and ask them to give you a mock interview and then be brutal with you in telling you what you need to do better. DITTO! Scales are evil. I could not agree more! The famous gymnast, Mary Lou Rettin says she does not even allow scales in her home! Its all about good health. The scale is just ONE measurement of that. Stamina, strength, energy. These are the measurements of good health before weight.

My wife has the same thing. We purchased bikes and have been having a great time riding together almost every day .... After the baby, you can get a baby trailer (with a seat belt and roll bar PLEASE) and still do it!

Talk to you personal doctor first before talking to the folks that are going to make money off you doing it. Research all the pros and cons. Give MFP a good chance first. Slow weight loss and learning a healthy lifestyle is the best way to go unless you have medical problems that prevent it. Good luck to you!!
