That happens to all of us. 1. Only weigh yourself Once a week... 2. Take your measurements! and log them. If you are exercising you will build muscle which weighs more than fat and will give you false "weight gain" readings as your measurements shrink. 3. Exercise is the real key... find an activity YOU enjoy doing and do…

I thought doing it old school would be using one of those machines that you stand in front of with the strap around you and then jiggle the heck out of your belly and butt... lol Good results with the exercise, but remember, for long term success your exercise program needs to be an activity you enjoy doing or eventually…

It is ALL about the exercise. Find something YOU like to do. If you choose an exercise you don't like, you will ultimately fail. I like walking and riding my bike. Find a beautiful place to explore or maybe go to the mall and go from one end to the other for an hour. I also like to garden and that is a good workout in my…

"run, Forrest, run" (Then clean out your cupboards and fridge of ALL the junk food. "Binge" on a watermellon.... mmmmm yum!)

I like this thinking!

We all have our moments... at least I know I do, at least you laughed at yourself and realized how silly that was.

SMART woman!

You look WAY too young to be worrying about diets '-) Get out your trike, play with your dolls, chase the boy down the street around the corner... lol

I know exactly how you feel! On those days, I treat myself to a scoop of ice cream and then hit it again the next day. BUT 22 lbs since June WOW... congratulations what a great accomplishment!

As long as you don't go over more than 50-100 or so calories.. does it really matter? Get a bit more exercise and earn the reward! Smoothie... 1 Frozen Banana 2 Skim milk 3. Spoonful of Cocoa powder (can also add strawberries, frozen)

Is there anyone NOT laughing right now?
-
Oh my!
-
THAT was funny,,,, but true. It would only be a problem if it had jagged edges that might get it hung up on something on the way through the body.
-
WOW ... Congratulations, by the way! That is NOT just a good start, that is GREAT.

You may have hit a "set point" As I understand it, when people gain weight, most people stop at certain weights for a while. That teaches your body that it is a level the body should stay. So when you are loosing weight and hit one of these "set points" on the way down, your body says, "Whoa buddy, this far and no…

To find someone specific like you want, go to "community" then "find members" and do a search. Good luck!

Me too.

That happens to many if not most of us. If you have been exercising, you have been building muscle which weighs more than fat. Also, on our way up to getting large, we stop along the way, "set points" and we tend to stop at those same set points coming down as well. If we were at a set point for a long time, then the body…

It should not go below 1200 ever. As I understand it that is the bare minimum to keep your body going, less than that is starvation.

You burn calories laying in bed at night. MOVING your body in any manner will burn calories, but you can enhance your calorie burn by skipping down the hall, laughing more (a direct result of skipping), doing knee bends and isometrics throughout the day... etc.

I think you are all lovely...

You came to the right place. Find people of similar age and goals for best results. Under community click on "Find Members."

I totally agree... depriving yourself of an occasional treat only leads to defeat. But have the treat in MODERATION and eat it slowly. Eating healthy and regular exercise is the ticket to long term success.
-
I think too many people feel like you because they are too focused on loosing weight rather than learning to be healthy and enjoying it. If your only goal is to loose weight, what happens when you arrive at your goal? Do you then begin to slowly eat yourself back into obesity? If your goal is to be healthy it is a journey…

Dried mangos are my favorite. Costco has a big bag.
