I found that diet sodas gave me headaches. After a while there was some level,of pain constantly and severe migraine levels several times a month. After I dried out, if I had one, the pain would begin several hours later.

I made 100 days in a row today, and I too recently came back to MFP. I quit smoking 12 years ago and still miss it at times. I quit soda last year b/c it was giving me chronic head aches. I try to respond to my friends in someway at least once a day. It bothers me if they never say anything about anything. I teach and have…

Maybe get involved in something you're interested in with a group of people, like volunteering.

Sugar in any form lead to a blood sugar spike and fall, which can lead to you feeling hungry kind of quickly. That's why I've gotten big into veggies for snacks.

Goodwill rocks! You can find lots name brand stuff and maybe let a style find you. 90% of my clothes come from there and it's lead me to wear things that look great but that I wouldn't have gotten otherwise.

Good Luck! Consider reading You on a Diet by Dr. Oz. Lots of good advice about how/what to eat to avoid hunger pains.

Read MFP, magazines, books, or blogs daily to stay mindful of ways to make positive changes.

You can take a break on actively trying to lose. Just don't take the break from eating healthy. Also sounds like you should explore new food instead of being bored. Also maybe do some reading. I find that reading about somebody else's journey helps me reflect on own :)

Oh dear Jesus! It might kill me, but I'd rather do this than cut flour:)

Sounds like a plan! Add me if you'd like a buddy:)

Ah, I know that corner:) And I know knowing what to do but not doing it. Blue crayonz has good advice, though, plus a cool name.

I was lucky. When my kids were little, they loved yogurt (which I despise). There was a fancy whipped, whole milk kind that they would eat and eat and eat.

I've gotten off track and put back on like five pounds. Now I'm refocusing. At least I've kept 30 lbs off for close to a year! Much luck to you!

I'm hearing that eating food you like is something that happens when you aren't working on weight loss. You can eat to lose and eat the food you like, but you have to want to get control. I also have to say that eating healthy food tastes good. I don't want to settle for junk when I could have healthy instead. But it…
