Have you got your shoes fitted properly, i.e gait analysis etc, as that can cause knee pain, also are you doing your warm down stretches, again this is very important to do these after running. well done on your running so far, keep it up and you will achieve your 10km

I go blackberry picking in UK around the New Forest and I freeze mine, they are fine. just leave out for a couple of hours to defrost. or i have put them in the oven when frozen with some raw apples and baked.
