After three weeks without a loss i got on the scale this morning...WOOSH! Down three pounds!

I just take rinds and put them on a plate, sprinkle cheese on it and microwave until melted, top with salsa and sour cream. Tortilla chips? Who needs tortilla chips?

You're going to love it! Once you've made it past the second day expect to not have cravings, despise sweets (at least for me), and to generally not be hungry. Also, expect an increase in energy and a decrease in that terrible bloated feeling, not to mention after a week to be down a significant amount of weight!

I take leftovers usually when I don't take salad. Today I have braised pork with broccoli and butter. We try to make extra dinner so we can take some for lunch the next day.

I just bought myself a new pair of running shoes - Vibram 5 Fingers, the Bikila LS - to celebrate losing 75lbs. Ran in them last night for the first time and got a blister. LOL!

Turned down birthday cake at work today. I didn't want it to throw me out of ketosis and I also was afraid that the super sweetness would make me sick. Kinda proud of myself. *pats self on back*

Our school put a new building wide policy in this year because homework was taking away from family time and the parents complained. Official weigh in today showed a 1lb loss. I believe my sodium intake was too high as I don't understand how I could lose 16lbs in the previous two weeks (and I had several adult libations over Labor Day weekend) and only lose 1lb this week. :(. I know a lady who lost 35 lbs on the Belly Fat Cure diet. She looks very good now. She now follows the plan for breakfast and lunch only to maintain. She has done this for the past 2 years with great success. Good luck to you on what ever you decide to do.

I crushed up pork rinds and used as breading for chicken and fish tonight for dinner. It was pretty good! I would definitely recommend using pork rinds as a breading for any meat. Add seasonings (just not salt) to flavor.

Yolks turn green because they are over cooked. The sulfuric smell will happen regardless. Today is a good example: I consumed 1298 calories, and then burnt 657 calories from cardio leaving me with a net of 641 calories. The problem is I haven't been hungry all day. I forced myself to eat the 1298 calories. BTW, I need to consume more fiber...eek!
