I normally eat only two meals a day, it feels much better not to be constantly eating. I think with the high fat it's easy to feel full and not need to eat for extended periods. Fasting till lunch time has lots of health benefits.

*waves hello* Yes, what clayswife said, love the fat. I am making fat bombs and frying everything in butter, everything tastes so much better fried in butter. I normally lurk on MFP but this forum is so friendly i have come out of hiding a few times. I have found it amazing how much i now enjoy simple food and the health…

About five days a week I fast from 7pm to lunch time the next day, it stops the mindless snacking and I enjoy just eating two large meals a day, or a big meal and a snack.

Have you tried MSM powder after workouts, it has really helped me with muscle aches and doesn't have any carbs, tastes like death but I mix it with vit c powder and its drinkable.

I run, lift weights, walk the dog, cycle a bit. I try and do something every day. It was exhausting when first changing over to LCHF but 27 days in and i am back to where i was before fitness wise and 17lbs lighter.

Well done everyone. I've been reading these over the past couple of days and they have really inspired me to keep going (its been one of those weeks). I've been doing this WOE for 27 days now and my NSV are: My daughter (she is 6) likes to stick her hands up my shirt and wobble my belly if she is sad, it instantly cheers…

Excellent idea, i need some gravy in my life, roast chicken and cabbage is not the same without gravy.

Hi, I'm in the UK too and been LCHF for three weeks now and it's brilliant, please add me as a friend.

That looks soo good!

Yeah, i think thats it, tweaking it till it fits your body and the exercise you enjoy doing. I did have a LCHF smoothie before i went out this morning, i am sure that helped. Enjoy your ride :-)

I thought i would update. My long run was cancelled so i took it easy and tried some yoga. I went for a 5k today, went slow but it was fine, didn't feel like i was dying. So i am going to build myself up slowly but i am very positive, i am feeling good generally, lots of energy but really stinky breath :-)

I have a kombucha scoby fermenting away in the cupboard. It's less sugary the longer you leave it to ferment and more cider vinegar tasting, maybe less carbs?
-
Foamroller - i had a look around and some people recommend honey so i thought i might try that mixed in a pre run smoothie? If i start eating Haribo i may not be able to stop lol
-
SunnyBunny - i know its probably not the best time to do long runs but I seem to have the inability to say no when its suggested, i am rubbish and running but i really enjoy it. I will suggest we make it a nice easy run. KittensMaster - i am very impressed with your weightloss/muscle gain, i want to preserve as much muscle…

Ok, excellent, I need to sort out my sodium then, never been one for salt when not on chips lol. I have been taking magnesium, will find some potassium. So in theory if I eat a banana before a long run because of the exercise I am doing I won't get thrown out of ketosis? Shall take a look at reddit. Thank you

Running makes me need an afternoon nap. I am fine any other sort of cardio but after a 6-10k run I am always exhausted and hungry.

I have had three children and have been very big each time - massive baby belly . But with time (my youngest is 4), healthy diet, exercise, weights, it has gone slowly down and i think when i reach my goal weight it may be a little mummy tummy but not worthy of surgery. You might be surprised how well your body bounces…

I buy mine on amazon, still trying to find one that tastes good. Currently use sun warrior chocolate mixed with milk, slightly like a chocolate milk shake.

I home school my 4,7,9 year olds, I try and get them to do something 6 days out of 7, normally walking the dog, going swimming, yoga from you tube or the kids cardio on fitness blender. To be honest though they don't generally sit down much, they are always on their trampoline or reading a book whilst standing on a chair…

I home educate my 3 children, luckily my husband now works from home so i am free to workout whenever. Before i used to try and fit in 30 minutes before my husband went to work or when the baby was sleeping. I also managed to lift weights through out the day - 10 minutes here and there - better than nothing.

you look great and your tattoo is awesome - well done definitely an inspiration.

Me please - my calories are a bit light at 1650 but that is to allow for my dodgy estimations. I am planning on adding an extra 100 or so a month and see how it goes - i only weigh myself once a month. I lift 2-4 times a week - at home and i run a couple of times a week and maybe a bit of something else i enjoy like a dvd,…
-
I do 30-45 minutes most days, 3 days I weight train at home, 2 days I go for a run and one day i will do a cardio DVD, I've made really good progress and I don't think you need to slog away for hours to make exercise count.
