To be honest, I stay away from all supplements. I think that you should get all your nutrients from regular food. When people say, "I can't get all the protein I need without my shakes," my first thought is, "then do you really need all that protein?"

I switched CrossFit gyms a couple of months ago and right away I felt that my new place was much more challenging than what I had been used to at my old gym. The gym I dropped in at on Friday was more in line with my old gym and I feel like I did really well; RX'd the WOD and was super fast.

I would suggest trying to find the root of why you feel bad about missing class despite the fact that you feel you need rest. Are you worried that you're secretly lazy and just making excuses?

I smoked my shin on box jump overs last night, not the first time but definitely the worst time. That being said, I have seen MUCH worse on other people so I suppose I am somewhat lucky.

I have never seen anyone quit at either of the CrossFit gyms I have been a member of. I have seen people dial down the weight or scale down a movement mid-WOD but I think that's OK.

I bought a bottle of capsules and took them all. Did not see a difference.

I have had injections in my knee and shoulder before. They hurt like any other shot but they definitely bring relief to sore joints.
